The title doesn't say realistic 'damage', quite clearly the car would have been totalled in real life - my video is about the car physics.

@rainey06au not sure about totalled. i rolled a 60's willys jeep around as many times as the skyline in this video (though i was probably slower) and could still drive it home. the only real damage was on the roll cage, which got bent all over and the breaks, which died completely for some reason.

no, i didn't die. it was on a farm, and luckly i had no seat belt on so was tossed ~50m foward and landed on rolling on the back my shoulders. i only had minor injuries. talk about luck.

Realistic? For a car to flip like that one did, it would have to be hit with a much harder impact than that. Also, the rear end would be crushed alot more and probably wouldn't flip it at all.

why do the damage models have to be sooooo bad on these games? these are supposed to be sims right? dirt2 has the best damage imagery that i have seen and even it is only realistic to a cetain point...give me a busted radiator that spews coolant on the track..or make me limp back to the pits or the shop because i hit a tree and ripped one of my wheels off or something...and now I hear that gt5 will have no damage at all! WTF!!!!!!
