The police might have been a slightly aggressive but they have to be with drunk (and probably) stoned idiots like this down town each night. They are just trying to do their job and keep the peace so its safe for everyone. I commend them. Too bad the city can't afford additional forces to just walk the beat and maybe this kind of childish behavior doesn't even take place in the first place. When the cop grabbed the kid by his neck and pinned him against the car, you can clearly see the kid was not a threat and it didn't require the amount of force used to detain the kid. In a different situation this may not be considered excessive force but in this case it seemed quite excessive

The arresting officer on the ground probably thought he was reaching for his weapon, which is why he hemmed him up by his throat against the car.
