  • @numskitude - S.T.F.U. , you ignorant, arrogant, overly self wanked P.O.S. - Wanna spend a few minutes with me in any back alley somewhere? I'll gladly show you what PASSION Means - No Gloves, No Rules, No Refs - Phil Mogg and Sir Schenker "Get It" - Obviously you need to have it knocked into you, PHUKKFACE !!!!

  • PHIL MOGG SUCKS!!! FUCKING WANKER!!

  • @numskidude suck my dick

  • @numskidude Hey prick, why are you checking this out then? You are probably some hairy vag chick that mogg stuck his dick in around 1975. Yes, you sound like one of phils jilted one nighters. Mogg is great!!!!!!!

  • try me let me be the one......

  • EPIC PHIL MOGG!

  • My favourite track of all time.. and to sound morbid the track I want to go out to...

    Totally awesome and timeless..

I think Schenker to me personally is my favourite guitar soloist.. I know others will dispite this, but each to their own !!

    Awesome.. Just Awesome..

  • This is my favorite depressing ballad.... No Songs can comes close to it..

Try me....take me for a little while.....

  • I love the tone on this version..Thanks,Axe..and have a joyous Xmas..Peace, Jim

  • i demant to no who disliked this O_O

    shank ruless! :D

  • Love to LOVE it!

Sounds like the John Peel Sessions version from 6.1.77. I picked up the EP along with Too Hot to handle & Lights Out for $2.49 on the US iTunes store. BUY IT NOW, sometimes things come and go there very quickly!! I should know!

  • @Jmurray5150 yes ,this is from the Peel sessions!!

  • thanks AXE. beautful song.......

  • i think lights out was the best rock cassette i had when i was 15

  • These older songs from the great rockers lik UFO - Srorpians - MSG, are my life on a canvas.

This music is my heart and soul and I will celebrate every time I here it, until I can no longer hear.

    Cheers

  • my favorite band wish they were rockin america concert at the zoo in okc this year miss them last

  • This song gets to my heart, every time, again and again....

  • I am a UFO fan from 77, I also saw a UK band called Icemon do this as a cover around 81 and it was bloody good. The original still gets me, reminds me of a week away with my first gal in 79, cheers for posting it, JB

  • possibly my favourite schenker solo.....spine-chilling........thx axe......is this the orig album version? sounds different??..

  • You're welcome man.this was the other version but I guess they decided to go with the other version for the album!

  • Amazing.

No one makes songs like this today.

  • @kinghetzer

    agree with you dude...

  • piano is flawless, lyrics raw and wide open, guitar sounds like cries from the heart and the memories... well... grateful for them. magnificent song!

  • thank you, I appreciate your comment!

  • Absolutely brilliant. Thanks Axeflyerfv.

  • Hey Axeflyerfv, thanx for the suggestion. Yes, the Try Me I originally heard was the b-side of Doctor Doctor in 1979, Good memories! Thanks again, mate - you`re a scholar and a gentleman.

  • I appreciate your kind words mate! but I gotta ask you Try me the B side of Doctor Doctor in 1979?

Doctor is from Phenomenon (1974) & Try me is from Lights out (1977),I know somebody else might ask so I thought I better ask!

this version is from the BBC recording Peel Sessioms!

  • I think mycal64 is referring to the live ep from Strangers in the night live album.

  • @AXEFLYERFV mycal's right, I think. Chrysalis released a single of "Doctor, Doctor" off the Strangers In The Night live set in '79. One version of that single backed the track with a kicking live version of On With The Action (which, to this day, I can't understand how it never made the album) and the studio version of Try Me.

  • @HydraVein666 thnx for your input ,I appreciated! yes,I posted the Live On with the Action version but the way I got it was ,it is on a double Michael Schenker CD called " INTO THE ARENA -1972--1995 "Highlights& Overtures!

  • @HydraVein666 Yes, i have that single on white vinyl to this day.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this song Schenkers solo makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Its not his fastest but its pure emotion in it!

  • First heard this song when I was a 15 yr old long-haired git back in `79 (in Cardiff). Loved it to bits but joined the army soon after and forgot about it for... 30 years, until today!!! Just found it and can`t believe 30 yrs has gone so fast. Thank you for giving me a brief taste of what life used to be like in my long-haired carefree days of Zeppelin, John Martyn, SAHB, Quo, ACDC (Bon days), Skynard, Sabs, Hawkwind and of course UFO.

  • You're welcome man & I thank you for your comment & watching!

  • Again thanks AXE, for the stuff you have posted!!! and sure I will be watching your channel for more hidden treasures!!! to me too, UFO with Michael is BEST!!!

I´m a vinyl record collector and I own PHENNOMENON, FORCE IT,NO HEAVY PETTING, LIGTHS OUT, OBSSESSION and MECHANIX. Here in Brasil the original cover of FORCE IT was forbbiden and it was released with NO HEAVY PETTING cover and seal !!!!

  • And now you, bring another undercover jewel to us!!!

this pieces brings me pleassure!! is so good to be alive!!!!!!

    thanks AXE!!!!

  • thnx man!

I really appreciate all your comments,no doubt you are a UFO fan,my kind of people,:)..!

  • AXE, you really hit betwen the eyes when you say that I´m a UFO fan!!!!!

since I knew UFO, back in1986,when I was 19 ,I really fall in love by this unique blend band,I even was a scorpions fan and was a big surprise to know rudolf´s brother talents.

Please AXE,could you post more hiden stuff??? Thanks for the vid you send me today!!!

  • I have posted most of what I have, the rare ones are already posted!for me UFO seventies with Schenker was the best!

  • Every now and than I come by to listen to this song. This is so beautiful, and I can relate to it so much. this one has found its place in my heart....

  • Wow just when I thought I had every track from UFO ever laid down. This pops up where can you find this? Great version from these Classic Rock gods. Pauls Piano is Awesome on this less its Danny playing?

  • I have posted a few rare tracks more,Lights Out is one of them, this is Paul on piano!

this is from the BBC Recordings!

    check this one out:

    UFO [ LIGHTS OUT ] ALTERNATE AUDIO-TRACK.

thnx for watching,I always include picture of the cd sleeve (cover)

  • Hey Axe, only found this one just now, so better late than never: great post, thanks for sharing. This is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.

  • schenker is amazing every note he picks is perfect and i love how the guitar doesnt pick up till the solo

todaysmusic sucks unplesant areas on men !!!!

jonas brothers havnt wrote a song in there life and there richer than any of us will probly ever b !

  • Sounds more like a demo than alternate take. Schenker often cited original version's guitar solo as his favorite of '70's era UFO. It surprised me , he said it was due to the emotion.

  • I love that piano... disregard my last comment.. I am not a snob.. but I know it sounded like it.. so forgive me?!

    This song is AWESOME!

  • I can sing almost perfectly to those songs... can't find sounds like that anymore.

  • It's good to know and hear people like you are simply keeping it alive. So you go and give it all that you've got and sing... sing to your heart's content, and if don't mind maybe you will be noticed, or if it's simply for your own satisfaction and/or your company well God bless you...sing...it's the most beautiful thing...

  • It's very cool to know that there are people who still love this stuff. The Good ol' days! Todays music fails 'bigtime' next to it!! My opinion...

  • I rather go back to the good old days,I can't stand today's music!

I haven't listen to a radio station in so many years,I'm my own DJ! ;).....

  • This is one of the greatest songs. I still have the original cassette.. lol.. and album.

  • I agree with you,it is a great song,this version & the other one!

  • I think I like this one the best:)

  • Guaranteed to get your girls kecks off in seconds. Cheers Phil and Michael!

  • its weird this may b one of ufos best songs not one of micheals best solos but he jams even in a beautiful song like this and somehow u could look this song up on just about any other sight and its not there

  • I uploaded here on this page, the live version from Stangers in the Night & the one version they decided to release on the Lights out album & the other one with Vinnie Moore:

    UFO [ TRY ME ] LIVE AUDIO-TRACK,1978.

  • funny but TO ME this song right here may be the Schenk's finest moment of all his terrific catalog of solos

  • Always loved this song!

  • the bestest

  • Yeah, MSG 1 had some unique stuff. My favorite solo is the Feels Like a Good thing, his tone is awesome. All time favorite Schenker solo is Highway Lady solo, just incredible. Check out Love Lost Love from Force it...

  • Check this out:

    UFO [ LOVE LOST LOVE ] AUDIO-TRACK.

  • Great version, Michael's solos are pure gold. Hope Mike tours the southeast USA soon!

UFO 75-78 was one of a kind. Truly unique band with awesome songs, very diverse. When I hear Arbory Hill on the same release as Pack it Up...!? mind blowing!

  • Have you noticed tha Schenker wrote Tales of Mystery (MSG I) from Arbory Hill!

  • Man, I love Arbory Hill. Such a pure sound!

  • Great demo but you can't compare it to the studio version. It makes me want to fall in love. Try me, take me for a while...Great lyrics!

  • yeah,I guess that's the reason this version stayed in the shelf,I prefer the album version my self,so I had to post it also, thnx for your comment!

    UFO [ TRY ME ] AUDIO-TRACK

  • i remember falling in love with this song as a kid. Still love it to day. It is one of the best power ballads ever. And written in the 70s. The 80s glam rock owes its roots to UFO!

  • still sounds as good as it did in the 70s.

  • Possibly the greatest love song ever written, with perhaps one of the greatest guitar solos ever.

  • you say it all

  • Schenker was / is such a master of the guitar. Such as shame he's mad! Nuttier than squirrel shit! He seemed to chill out late 80's and early 90's. But post 95 he has been a crazy as he was in 77-80. He lives in Barnet / London now. Guess that better than living on beach in CA or a tent on Clapham Common!

Wonderful musician. I wish him well.

Be sure to check out the new MSG - Schenker/Barden CD. Old style MSG is back!

  • thnx for watching & comment,I like the new MSG CD,I've posted a couple of tracks from it!

  • Genius. Sounds like a demo - as close to as hearing how they might have played it live - unless someone has heard it live and can comment. With MS of course. THe VM version is simply brilliant. If you need a comparison between the two guitarists read my first word.

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONGS EVER WRITTEN.

  • Michael Schenker is the greatest guitarist to ever live

  • Tremendous tune!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song contributed to me falling in love with John...still loving them both 18 years later. Amazing.

  • Great song by a truely great band.Shame it never gets an airing live.

Enjoy your vids the most AXEFLYERFV Scorps and UFO are my no 1+2 bands and have been for about 30 years!

  • Look at the great bands that Michael Schenker and UFO influenced because of the great guitar playing. They are mostly Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Europe...

  • This song makes me sad :(

It takes me back to 6th grade and when my dog died.

  • i love this song, i wonder with this rytham

  • i want the schenker solo.......!!it's much better with him

  • This is Schenker on this (solo) version but they decided to use the other version for the album,I do prefer the other one, which I'll post very soon, thnx for watching!

  • saddest song ever? One of the greatest ballads for sure! :D

  • What the hell do you mean by 'STOP THE BULLSHIT' young lad?

  • how old or new is this song...coz hanoi rocks hav a song with part of this solo in it...who copied who???

  • This song came out in 1977,so most likely Hanoi Rocks copied UFO,I remember Hanoi Rocks coming out in early '80's,lst I heard from them was the death of their Drummer in a car accident as the passenger with Vince Neil from Motley Crue behind the wheel, what is the name of that song?,I would like to hear what it sounds like.

  • This Band does NOT copy anyone!Hanoi used it because they suck, and coudln't write there own material!!!

  • At 4:03 I fall in tears, ever!

  • Is this from the BBC Lights Out sessions? Can't see why they didn't play it live, probably demanded too much sobriety.

  • Yes it is from the BBC sessions, have you seen this video?

copy & paste on the search box:

    UFO [ TRY ME ] LIVE/STUDIO VERSION '05.

    but is without Schenker.

  • Yep, got it on the Showtine DVD, Vinnie Moore is excellent and they even do one of my faves 'Pack It Up and Go', which, come to think of it, is knocking about on You Tube as well.

  • Very underrated group!

  • such an awesome track.

  • Thnx for watching!

    JEEPER!
