I just went to a seminar with this guy today in MA.

He's absolutely huge for a featherweight. I believe he said he walked around at 165, but it was certainly the biggest 165 I've ever seen.

He's also about the most down-to-earth dude you'll ever meet - a true champ, IMO.

I'm with you. I haven't seen amore humble champion than Mike Brown... maybe ever. Faber is a great fighter. I will never take anything away from his skills or his training. But Mike is a notch better. He's proven it twice. Mike Brown is a champ to be admired and he is a great role model for kids on the way up on how to be a class act.

If he beats Aldo then even with all the talent in this division he could lock up the title. Aldo, however, is a bad match on the feet with his speed because Brown is slow for the weight. Faber and Curran both had some success on the feet, but Aldo has much more KO power than either of them. I expect Aldo to land shots on Brown, but Brown has a great chin - tough call. Have to expect Brown to control any clinch, but we haven't seen Aldo on the ground - word is he's pretty dangerous there.

I train with Mike and the vid maker at American Top Team. Mike is the very definition of a class act. Dry, nice and giving guy. Always does whatever it takes to make sure everyone does their best. Blue color, blood and guts. he deserves everything he has.

As for the Faber fight, I was there. Not a "rape" but Mike was too much of a man and Faber knew it when he got tossed across the cage trying to throw a knee. However, Faber is awesome and will be top 5 for a long time.
