Al Sharpton was the worst liar on this . He was ranting that we need a president to create jobs not one who likes firing people. That is the worst twisting of facts -it is shameful.
He wasn't talking about the employers there, he was talking about the client's right to seek other services provided by other companies, so the ones that do the firing aren't the employers but the clients that figuratively fire the service provider that doesn't provide good service by seeking the service somewhere else, so show some integrity and post the whole speech
Some of you may want to read this 17 second clip IN context:
“I want individuals to have their own insurance. That means the insurance company will have an incentive to keep you healthy. It also means if you don’t like what they do, you can fire them. I like being able to fire people who provide services to me.
If someone doesn’t give me the good service that I need, I want to be able to say that I’m going to get someone else to provide that service to me.”
@recalcitrist1 easily led? doubt it. I have more intelligence than you to know a complete fake rich asshole unlike you. I trust Obama because I know he will lead this country in a better direction than some immoral, bloody thirsty republicans will. Time for you to let go of the Romney hard on. Stop voting against your ecnomic interest douche bag
@ruffzspree Obama will lead this country in a better direction?! Name one thing that man has done that has been beneficial to this country or its citizens? That being said, I was more or less apathetic until here recently. I didn't give a fuck who was running the country until he started claiming ownership of my rights. I don't know about you but I value my freedom. Obama signed NDAA and is currently trying to pass the enemy expatriation act. I think the appropriate candidate is obvious.
@TKRFLB He saved this country from going into a depression thanks to bush. He saved the US auto industry and the jobs that went along with it. Made prescription drugs cheaper for the elderly. Put in laws to protect consumers from credit card companies with fees and a bunch of other nonsense. Consumer protection agency to look out for the common man. Killed a bunch of al qaeda leaders and kept us safe with his great foreign policy. Tax breaks for the middle class, helping our vets find work.
@ruffzspree Dude......... get a life... lol I wrote one comment and received like five. If you don't realize what's goin on - that Obama has passed a law to indefinitely detain and legally assassinate american citizens, WITHOUT charge OR trial; and now he's trying to pass a law to strip american citizenship away from the people - then you're just a sheep. Republicans and Democrats are all the same - working towards the same goal: one world government. RON PAUL 2012
@TKRFLB bringing home troops from Iraq, cuts to programs we don't need. Protecting the water and air quality for american citizens. Healthcare for people who don't have it, making rules protecting people from being denied by insurance companies because of a preexisting condition. Keeping peoples children on their health plan longer raising the age. All of this while the republican congress was cock blocking him preventing him to get more stuff done.
@TKRFLB Paranoid much? ignorant much? what "rights" did he strip from you? what? wanting millionaires to pay higher in taxes to help with the debt and protecting social secruity/medicare? did he happen to take your guns away from you? lol do a little research before you spew your tea bagger bullshit to me.
@TKRFLB if anyone is stripping rights its the fucking republican party. Womens rights, voters rights etc but you wouldn't know that since you "didn't give a fuck who was running the country." Think before you open your mouth. You have no credibility and you just got owned... so you cry to your mommy you little bitch
I believe it would be best to try to fix the problem first than to simply fire the person or company. What he said is like if i get a flat tire on my car i'll simply junk it and buy a new one.
What the Republicans don't understand is that if Ron Paul was the presidential candidate of their party, not only would he get their votes as well as the votes of Democrats who are unsatisfied with Obama and see some of the views they believe being defended by congressman Paul.
What about all the people who refuse to shop at Walmart because they disapprove of that company's practices? In effect they've chosen to fire Walmart as a source of goods & services, and hire its competitors instead.
@HENRYPATRICK1736 Yeh but it's funny, that's the point. Knowing the attacks against him, it's funny that he gave us such a great line to take out of context.
@HENRYPATRICK1736 Very intelligent observation. You obviously can understand simple English, as well as the little modifier "TO BE ABLE", unlike the jerks who are slavering over this phony "gross error".
