The major greenhouse gas is water vapor, methane is also a contributor but CO2 is such a small percentage at 350 ppm that it does not pose a risk of any kind.

@BTsmoke Dear BTsmoke - I think you do not know what remains in atmosphere if methane is degrading: CO2! And yes, there was polluted enough into the atmosphere to warm it.

@BTsmoke Why? In tropical latitudes water vapor could rise higher before condensing back into water and raining. In latitudes closer to the poles this would be less likely.

@BTsmoke Greenhouse gases do not exist after all . . . the earth is a naturally warm planet in a cold universe, and centuries of spewing industrial waste into the atmosphere won't change that fact one bit . . . it is all a natural cycle, don't you know and humans affecting the atmosphere, as if leaded gasoline exhausts fumes could cause ill-effects or CFC's produce the hole in the ozone layer. There is clearly nothing untoward happening here, time to move on and welcome those aliens.

@AbuCihan Aliens?...........I am talking about Global Warming not pollution. CO2 is NOT a pollutant. Industry must be regulated so that it does not pollute. The West has achieved it but now the rest of the world must follow. China is spending billions cleaning up it's industry, its rivers etc and others must too. Acid rain was stopped and CFC use was banned. The hole in the ozone layer is getting smaller.
