stay with the hifonics. they are good amps. i have had 5 of those they arre great amps. i just sell them. cause people like how they sound and there pretty cheap. but i upgraded. to jl1000v2. and it hits harder than the 2 2006 that i had connected. each to a L7 15 solobaric. i heard the difference on the bass right away. that jl hits reall deep. but hifonics are loud.

you are the only person i can find in the entire world right now with a sonata + bangin system. i got a 2002 sonata GLS with 200amp alternator upgrade, big kinetik battery in the front and small kinetik battery in the back leading to a BXi2010D and an Orion HCCA 12.2 running @ 1ohm. Hifonics aren't bad amps at all.

I love this system man! Mad props dude! I'm getting 2 15" L7 (2 ohm versions). i was lookn at a Hifonics BXi2008D amp to give them 1300rms at 2 ohms. but they can prolly take 1700rms easily like yours does rite?

That's true to an extend, Some of the cheaper still is asphalt based and will melt and stink at high temps. Damplifier can handle temps over 500. It's the best deadener you can buy.

CRAZY SETUP!!!! Dont worry about wiring your amp at 1ohm. Thats not why it blew. My guess is your crazy ass subs rattled the internals of your last amp loose and something shorted out because you had your amp connected to the box. If you look at your hifonics manual, it'll say dont mount your amp to the box. Relocate your amp and let that shit pound!!!

no it was the 1ohm problem it was trying to suck more power then my bats had or my alt could make so it was like makin its own power u could say and it blew. the shop that repaired it checked for the rattle to see if it knocked something out and that wasnt it plus there is a battery box inbatween them
