it would help to know during first fermentation if the batch should be covered up because ive heard that the first fermentation should have air but it also needs protection from the fruit fly that brings the vinagar bactiria. you havent mentioned anything about testing the acid levels and what level it should be. plus theres no mention about the sugar gravity and how to test it.
@bilzup lol, oh yeah I get it: it is pretentious music for pretentious people.... oops, sorry don't mean to offend, and the conventional wisdom does imply that winos are more important than the disgusting poor people.
This video is great, enjoyed it. A shame that there are so many haters in this comment section, a clear lack of culture and humor. This video is an example of hard work that pays off in the end.
We are happy you enjoyed the video. The music was specifically selected to annoy those with skin chronically overexposed to the sun directly between the head and the shoulders.
One can only suggest decreasing the volume on the device that displays the video. However, due to the complicated nature of anything more technical than a standard AM radio volume dial, we suggest placing the tips of your two index fingers in your ears while viewing.
Thanks for watching and see y'all again real soon.
hey excuse me sir, do you know the people in the video or u found this video somewhere., if so, can you possibly show the grape vines u got all the grapes from and how long did it take? i have a trellis i started in may with 4 different types of muscadines and 3 different types of grapes. their all over 7 feet long now but how long would it take before i will have enough grapes to make a couple bottles of wine???
Where are you from again? Not liking French music makes you a redneck? Nice. It's clear that you hold a degree in douchebaggery.
You do understand that the device that displays the video has nothing to do with the volume of the device that reproduces the audio, right? No, of course you don't. Otherwise you wouldn't come off as such a pretentious, pseudo-intellectual prick. You can always measure a person's ignorance by their arrogance. Sure wish I could mechanically crush grapes and add yeast.
Well stated. One would n o t expect a redneck to to assimilate the mentally stimulating concepts expressed in the video. Speaking for the rest of those on the Internet - go back to your recliner chair, big screen TV with remote and open a frosty cold Budweiser.

Was the lady adding yeast in the beginning for fermentation? Is it really required? I never add yeast and have never had issues with alcohol volume.
Also, what would you suggest for stopping fermentation? Is that Potassium something the only option?
Thank you
P.S. Just hand picked 300 pounds of grapes today from a local vineyard. Fun continues tomorrow. I will be making Chardonnay for the first time.
