  • Why that paintjob man...

  • Are those CCW wheels?

  • this car is sooo sexy

  • thats one BADASS car

  • how do you have a twin turbo setup, keeping the classic cobra external headers?????

  • speedo was like a tach,0-60 in about 3 seconds

  • jesus christ. cobras are already widowmakers, BEFORE the turbochargers.

  • @conor1148 Same thought,.. DAYYUM!!!!!

  • Well...just when I thought I had seem everything there was to see in the AC Cobra world someone builds the most beautiful example I have ever saw. Great work.

  • Nice 30 to 120 in about six seconds. I'd love to put a camera on an unsuspecting passengers face during that exercise.

  • Amazing Cobra! Great Job!!!!!

  • @conurelover I can think of some things.. Say thats a nice bike.. vroom see ya..

  • Houston do you copy ?

  • WOAAAAW!!!....Fast and Very Furious!!!...^^

  • @conurelover i bet its a gas guzzler...if not driven conservative .. but why build such a car like this and drive it conservative?

  • NELSON RACING TWIN TURBO 42 SMALL BLOCK, BY CHANCE?

  • sick car man.. I just bought one with a bone stock 428 in it.. not sure where to start. little bit of a newbie.

  • @matthewrockslol22 What are you talking about? Cobra replicas don't normally come with twin turbos. I only know of a few in the entire USA and they are all custom built.

  • @twinturbo331 I almost fell on my ass when I read his comments ahah. "So many problems owners talk about" rofl. Very nice cobra, I assume it's an FFR? I'll be starting my build as soon as I finish with my Z06. Cheers.

  • @cairnsguy22 check out FFR's GTM and you can turn the Z06 into another type of beast.

  • @gamepoe No thanks. The GTM doesn't appeal to me. I prefer the look of my Z as it is, and I've already redone the interior as the OEM Vette interior is simply garbage. Corbeau seats, momo wheel and hand stitched leather everywhere now :D

  • @twinturbo331 Holy fuck man you have an awesome car sweet paint job sweet sound and wicked fast...I would seriously consider this as being one of the top 100 cars in North america out of ALL cars ...this car is one in a billion.

  • @twinturbo331 you know a few*

  • @matthewrockslol22 what an idiot.hes talking about his vcr i think.

  • @billcrisco me?

  • @matthewrockslol22 your thinking of a mustang cobra, not an actualy shelby cobra.

  • @matthewrockslol22 Really... you do know you buy the car without a engine and tranny?

  • @matthewrockslol22 since when? and exactly how many people do you know that ACTUALLY have cobras? because i havent heard a SINGLE complaint about them

  • @faded2blak driving it the way most of these careless drivers do id guess after a while they will have some problems. and i cant imagine having to get such a nice care fixed, limited supply of parts and such

  • @matthewrockslol22

So wtf is he gonna do?? Have one of the baddest cars in North America and not ever punch it occasionally?? Come on dude. and obviously if he has a car like that, THEN HE HAS THE MONEY TO FIX IT

  • @matthewrockslol22 Its a muscle car, you aren't suppose to drive it like its your grandmas buick. You drive it like a muscle car.

  • So what I go 130 on a single cam LOL

  • @expex20 Its not about top speed but how fast you get there, kid ;)

  • Bad-ASSSSS Car.

Do you have an build thread or link on any forums?

  • OH MY GOODNESS! it must feel like a locomotive just barreled into your chest with that kind of acceleration!

  • fantastica!

  • Love it! I always get shot down when I talk about building my own cobra TT, so it's nice to see someone with the same idea. Screw original, it's got originality

  • what do have that wastgated at

  • @Powerstroke380, I usually drive with my electronic boost controller set at 13.5 and 15.5 lbs boost. I just push a button to go back and forth between the two while driving depending upon road conditions. I found that if I turn it much higher I have problems with traction on the freeway as my suspension is set more for handling than straight line traction. Cheers.

  • @twinturbo331 ok thanks,

  • @twinturbo331 ok thanks, buy the way that car is AMAZING

  • @twinturbo331 I know it might seem ricy but I have used before on turbo car to run lower boost in 1st gear. They have boost controllers that can set boost by gear so you can run lower boost in 1st, then little higher in 2nd and so on. It has be tune and takes time to get boost smooth but does come in handy..

  • that was faaast !!!

  • Ahh man, you put an automatic in this? I guess your manly drag racing this thing

  • @k9forkids Mainly drag racing, I don't think so. I usually make one trip to the drag strip per year, then they kick me off. My car is set up for handling and I typically drive it a couple hundred miles on weekends on the most winding country roads I can find. I switched to auto when my G-force 5 spd broke from all the tq I am making. My current tranny is a Lentech AOD that is full manual shift only, no drive mode. I get to shift every gear but don't have to push in a clutch pedal. Cheers.

  • @twinturbo331 why do they kick you off?

  • @kmohnke If you run over 135 mph in the 1/4 you have to have an NHRA license, NHRA certified full roll cage, firesuit, and the list goes on and on. Cheers.

  • This thing is evil! Very nice car!

  • good god listen to it

  • do you ever hear yourself saying "oops I crapped my pants"?

  • More vids mate... love it...

  • I just LOVE the Cobra!!

  • If ever in my life had i seen a bad ass car, this... is it.

  • nice car, but pretty sure ur goin downhill

  • Ryan, I hate to burst your bubble, but I was on level ground in this video. My one pass I made at the dragstrip last year, my 1/8th mile time was 6.5 seconds at 112.54 mph. Cheers.

  • i agree looked like a downhill

  • Do the math. The mph acceleration over time is right in line with my 1/8th mile time slip. There is nothing unusual about my acceleration when you consider my hp and car weight. Cheers.

  • @assassinstalk13 I just took my car to the track last weekend and it ran 144 mph in the 1/4. You can click on my name to see the video. Do you still think I'm going downhill in this video, lol.

  • @RyanThePr0 I'm pretty sure your intelligence is going downhill :P

  • hey there love your car what motor r u run as i am builting a ls2 twin turbo ac cobra that just made me pull my finger out and what boost have u got going on thanks

  • Rudygeoff, I'm running a Ford 331 (302 stroker) using a Dart block and forged internals. I run 15 lbs intercooled boost on pump gas. I could turn the boost up, but I'm really at the limit of what I can hook up on the street. The tech officials kick me of the track as it is. Cheers.

  • have u got 305 335 or 355 on the rear and is it a nine inch or a jag because it still hooks up nice

  • Rudygeoff, it has an 8.8 rear with upgraded axles, 3.08 gears, 275/17 ET Street radial tires. Cheers.

  • HOOLLYY CCRRAAP! That pulls like my Hayabusa!! Well, almost!

  • Thanks cantbsdave, I built this car to replace riding a crotch rocket. The nice part is I don't have to wear a helmet anymore. On a side note, I raced one Busa and pulled on him, not by much, but it was stock.

  • Come to Colorado, we don't have helmet laws.

  • Awsome! Good shot with the speed O..

  • SWEET!

  • nice!!!!! fucking asome

  • Holy Crap.

  • so when are you coming down to SoCal to run with the other FF guys? -NiceGuyEddie

  • hot dang SWEET

  • OK Motor and turbos please??

  • how much power are you putting to the ground?

  • I run between 550-600 rwhp, which in this light car and traction constraints seems about perfect.

  • You do 0-60 in about 4 or so seconds, and you were really not even trying 0-60! More videos, please!!

  • Culcun, I floored it at 30 mph in this video. 0-60 mph averaged 2.8 seconds the two times I checked it (on the street, not track) with my g-tech meter.

  • I was writing that you weren't even trying 0-60, but rather getting to 120 really, really, quickly, and you still seemed to manage in the 4 second range. 2.8 seconds seems somewhat conservative after seeing your 1/4 mile run (about 120 times, LOL). Very exciting videos, so I can only imagine being the driver!!

  • Calcun, there is a new video of my car a friend took of me when I made a single pass down the 1/4 a couple weeks ago. It's title "twin turbo cobra at the drag strip". Cheers.

  • what did it run in the 1/4??

  • no aluminum body for this guy, is a fibergalss Factory Five Racing Cobra. i have one too. this is the FIRST AND ONLY car with an automatic transmission that i would ever want! check out his 10.31 second 1/4 mile video too!

  • daaaammmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn that was bad assnow if it has an aluminium body you are the man!!!!!!!

  • That's fake--you taped speedometer numbers on a tach!! LOL (This is culcune on my son's laptop as we're at a wedding out of town)

Holy Moly Momma!! That car is one wicked ride--where's a Bugatti when you need (to race) one?!

  • Stops quick too. Was that on a dyno?

  • This was on pavement, not dyno. You should be able to hear the wind turbulence when I let off the throttle and hit the brakes. Cheers.

  • There is another video on this site of my car when I drove it out to the strip. Unfortunately they kicked me off after making a pass. It's titled Cobra 10.31 second pull in quarter mile. Cheers.

  • Impressive.

  • Sweeet!
