  • NF String & Son is the best. I got a 1964 quarter out of only $20

  • what banks do you normally go to and which do you avoid?

  • What do you end up doing with all the other non silver dimes when you're done?

  • @MrB0TT I take them to a "dump" bank, basically a bank that has a FREE coin counter that is customer accessible. It prints out a receipt which I take to a teller and they give me cash. Baddabing!

  • EPICCC!!!!

  • I also wanted to ask if you onlt look for silver or do you also look for error coins?

  • @zekehooper - Most of the dimes I found are 1964's. I do look for errors if I get the right dates. I used to look for proofs and errors on half dollars, but after going through too many to count, I got tired of LOOKING at each one. That takes too long for little to any reward.

  • It was funny watching your son in the last vid. How he was grading for the coins. LOL. I just hope one day I will find some silver. It will probably happen when the price falls?

  • @zekehooper - It could happen whenever, but this was when the price was lower... although they still could have got way more than 10 cents for them back then. I think silver is just getting increasing hard to find in circulation. You have to get lucky.

  • did u get anything out of the other boxes

  • @Ray5404 - The other 3 boxes of the 4 that I had went like this... Basically, the second box produced 1 rosie, the third box produced 20 rosies! but the fouth box was a skunk (aka nothing in the box worth keeping). Since then I've opened quite a few more boxes and the average is about ONE per box. So these dream boxes don't happen all of the time, if ever! I'm lucky I got to catch this on video :)

  • and by the way 19946 was the first year they made roosevelt dimes

  • how much would it be worth if you sold all of them?

  • @qwertyism8 - depends on the going rate for silver bullion, and who's buying them. Definitely more than 10 cents each, that's for sure ;-)

  • I bet you put them in their. I went through $1000 in halfs and got 0 silvers, no 40% ether!!

  • @Tacocat21 - Let me tell something to joo... I think it's pretty clear that they are brand new rolls from exactly where I said. Believe it or not that's your problem. After averaging about 4 silver halves per box, I went through over $18,000 in half dollars (39 boxes) without a single silver!! That's when I quit CRH. Damn boxes are too Fing heavy for everyone anyway. You could make more money with a part time job, but it's not really about that. It's about the hunt, but I wasn't findin any

  • @Tacocat21 - I also averaged about 2 silver per box of dimes, minus the dream box. Never found any silver quarters. The dream box was like winning the lotto, thus my excitement. Keep trying, you never know when you'll hit the jackpot.

  • Holy Hell! How does something like that happen today?! Congrats!

  • how do you get the rolld from the bank?

  • JUST OPENED MY FIRST BOX OF HALVES FOUND 1 FRANKLIN 1 64 KENDY,AND 2 40%..NOT BAD I GUESS IT WAS FUN TO.

  • see arent you glad you did this video if you hadn't your wife would of took it to the store lmao

  • NICE JOB :-)

  • Very nice, i'm going to try getting a box of dimes, I usually do pennies and nickels.

  • you know if you open the rolls more carefully you can reuse the rolls.

  • Yeah, I did that for the first 4 boxes of halves I ever opened. It's a real pain in the ass, and you have to unroll them anyway to dump them in the coin counters so why keep them rolled up?

  • 63 rosies @ 6.30$ and in melt value...73$ ??

  • i hope you roll them back up - not the machines

    otherwise you only break even

  • The machines are accurate enough in my opinion. I've kept a close eye on that and when they are off it's usually my fault for not having all of the coins accounted for.

  • Watch the video and find out why your statement is ridiculous. :-)

  • yes pennies are great but so are dimes!!!!

  • You are correct... and a box of quarters is $500. Good luck!

  • I thought I'd post a comment about the other boxes in the 4 that I had.
