  • I see people doing this all the time down there, a lot of them just hover for ages, would love to know whats involved training equipment wise etc, it looks crazy fun, not sure I have the guts to do it, I be worried gust of wind would get me, or I pull too hard and fall or get tangled. Fun to watch though, stunning bay too.

  • Hi Dan! Don't you miss your skim at a site like that? ( I'm the guy who owns yours now ;-) ) Still flying it, still lovin it! Best Wishes from Germany! Felix

  • Hi Felix, glad the Skim is taking care of you. It was my first speedwing and i think its a very under rated wing. This is a great site, have a look at my other vid titled

"High wind soaring (Speedflying) Rhossili Bay South Wales Bobcat 13.5"

    Take care, Dan

  • Very cool video, looks like a lot of fun :-) ... Id like to try speed-flying one day. Gorgeous site!

  • nice flying site and video!

  • Hi Dan, Nice one, no better site in the world to do this, looks like trimmers on the front and still the knicker elastic!! Take care in nil wind and who's the other guy on the beach (in a nomal PG! - like to see his film!) Best Wishes Bill

  • Nil wind flying is what speedflying is all about Bill ;-)

Yes, its a three riser system with trims on the front only which is the best set up in my view. Its fail safe in the very unlikely event of a trim failing. Very long riser and the annoying elastic. I kinow my limits and i wont ever be using the trim while foot launching. Its a fantastic mix of the Bobcat and Nano but is a very advanced wing!

  • you one crazy fxcer !lol
