it's a thinker, so dont smoke pot or drink before watching this or u wont understand shit. I know I wouldn't so luckily I wuz sober while watching it and it played out well, the movie itself is a fucking masterpiece I think.

I'm not a big fan of horror films, and when one of my friends dared me to watch this, I expected that I would hate it. The thing is, although I was constantly held in suspense during the film, it didn't scare me all that much. And yet, somehow, the film was a complete masterpiece. I absoloutely love this, and I've even got it on DVD. One of the best films I've ever seen. I just love how it toys with your mind.

The plot is simple. Melissa (main character) is making a promise to the devil (taxi driver). To break this cycle she should have not promised to the taxi driver (devil), she makes a promise thinking she can change thiings - her sons death etc..But she cant because she is already dead (thats why there is 2 of her). Something like that. Still confusing.

It's interesting. I admire what they were trying to do but I would suggest seeing and comparing this to Time Crimes. There is a loop here with no beginning that they fool you with @ the start of the movie. Time Crimes is similar but more tightly told with a clearer timeline. See both and you'll understand what I mean.

SPOILER: the pile of seagulls is a problem for me. by those rules there should be a daily car accident and piles of mothers and sons in a morgue. then why get back on the boat?

Good observation, you're going to have to assume your own theories to fill in those holes on your own. If you watch the cast interviews, the actress who plays Jess and the director tells their idea of why she gets back on the boat. Everybody has that part of themselves that they spend all life trying to hide, Jess has this evil side to her but she wants to be good, and she really wants to be good so much so that she will force herself back in the loop to achieve that.

dude all you guys who hate it, youre probably just not smart enough to understand it. this was one of the best "mind fck" movies ive ever watched, especially after watching inception. man this movie is G.O.O.D.

This was a great flick. One of the best horror / suspense movies in the last 5 years or so. It's up there with The Descent and 30 Days of Night if you ask me. Granted, we haven't had world-rocking horror flicks like The Shining or The Others in a long time, but this is as good as you'll get this decade. Those who hate the film are probably the kind of folks who need constant action and spoon-feeding storylines. If you like movies like The Shining or Memento, you'll like this flick.

A fantastic mystery thriller that plays on so many levels. Christopher Smith has upped his game with Triangle, this is a film that will stay with you for a long time. The isolated ship reminds me of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. To fully understand the film, you need to watch it twice. The is only one problem and that is that there is no clear indication to how Jess got into the loop in the first place, a fantastic thriller non the less thats worth your time.

Is this movie based around the bermuda triangle , because in the middle of the sea , i cant remember were but there is a place called the bermuda triangle and loads of ships since 1920's have disspaered , one ship dissapeared , reappreared with out anyone on board , true story , look it up on google , the bermuda triangle , i hope this movie is like that , ive watched a movie before about the bermuda triangle like this one were some explorers and reporters decided to goto the ship that reapeerd.
