In SF, using a projectile to keep someone out is called "zoning". to maintain a solid zoning game you must be prepared to counter ways of negating it by using an uppercut or another attack to counter it. What you are seeing is more than "spamming an attack"

He knew boxer was going to charge at him at some point, probably right after a hadouken, so he was rolling the dice on when that was going to happen. Don't really care who won or who's better, I'm not a big fan of EVO. I just like to watch ace street fighter players once a while. I read that Afro became third in street fighter 2 and Daigo first in SF4 this year . So thumbs up for both of them. ....Now if you are throwing hadoken right after another non stop then it immeidately becomes spamming. If you throw them within a certain time apart from each other, even in succession, you can actually strategize with it. It keeps you opponent guessing and give you more opportunities to attack.
