Angkor was a capital not a country. Chenla was a country and it was a Chinese word not a Khmer word. Angkor was a capital not a country. Chenla was a country and it was a Chinese word not a Khmer word. We are Khmer since the 1st century and today the letters KH standing for our Khmer ID for over 2000 years and we never changed our Khmer ID even we had the bad, the good and the ugly in our history. We took many khmers back for labour and send of people to manage the land in x00 years. You clearly don't know who you are. x00 years of khmer history, khmers had never been fully independent until french gave them back the land!!! Did you establish the border at the time, Answer is NO. This was between thai and french.

I KNOW who I am-I am a Khmer and proud of it. Thailand is the theif, and I fucking HATE thieves! It wasn't enough for them to steal land from the Khmer Empire in ancient times, so they continue to steal from Khmers anyway they can even if it means occupying lands that ARENT THEIRS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! The French just helped give back some of what was Cambodia's in the first place.

Man you need to chill out with all that hate towards other Southeast Asians. We are not living in the 12th century anymore. Thai people as well the Viet people did not steal anything from you and owes you nothing.
FYI:The French were no saints in Cambodia either; so get off their nutts. They mostly favored the Catholics. The majority of the popluation from "French Indochina" had to work the land. Wasn't till 1954 after defeat by the Viet Minh did they ceded land back to its former colonies.

FYI: I don't have hate against other Southeast Asians, I actually know more Vietnamese Americans than Cambodian ones. I just hate what they are doing to Khmers past and present. Thais and Vietnamese DID steal lands from what was formally the Khmer Empire and deny the existance of Kampuchea Krom, as well as prosecuting Khmers living in southern Vietnam.

Both sides continue to steal from Cambodia. The Thais take the resources and the Vietnamese take the land in Cambodia because of laxed immigration enforcement. French were imperialist douchebags, but what wouldve happened if they didnt step in?
