@FMMProductions dont buy it, the h60 ones are badly made, buy the h70 h100 or what else you want expect the h60, i have this pump and it makes a terible noise
@zakamooza There are issues with some of the H60. You can contact Corsair to get a replacement in that case. There are some videos on youtube showing the "bad" noise and the "right" one.
Before you blindly copy this tutorial. He missed an extremely important step.
APPLY THERMAL PASTE. It makes a huge difference.
Note: Too much is just as bad as too little / none. You want a small dab in the centre, the size of a small bean or a few grains of rice. Thermal paset is a better conductor than air but not as good as metal. So you as hoping to create an extremely thin layer that fills in any imperfections on what looks like a very smooth metallic surface.
@registerme2 BTW Corsair Hydro series do come with pre-applied thermal paste, I don't think somebody who's gonna pay to get a pre-built water cooler doesn't know that he/she needs to put thermal paste between the heatsink and the CPU.
@0mar32 i plan to use the same cooler...for the best cooling is it best to do it like u did and install the fan so that it pulls air from outside the case and pushes it thru the radiator? (this way probably increases dust in the case but it seems more beneficial for cooling) my friend had his h60 fan installed on the inside of the rad facing the mobo, and didnt know if he installed it wrong.
@0mar32 then is your fan up against your case blowing air out of the case?... i don't really know which direction your rad fan is blowing air. seems like a good idea to keep dust from coming in the case if its pulling air thru the radiator and sending it out the back. im just wondering if its set up like that then its sucking warmer air from inside the case thru the rad.
Hey Omar, does the radiator in your automobile pull the hot air from the engine compartment through the radiator? Why do you do in in your rig? Reverse your set up, and turn around your front 120 fan to maintain flow.
@Paulsur to each his own, but nonetheless I showed people how to install the fan each one installs it the way he wants, after this videos I installed my second fan to use it in a Push/Pull config, I like exhaust more than intake to reduce the dust inside my case :D
@EndoskelletonT800 depends on how your case was designed and what the ambient temperature is just doesn't seem worth it to me. Your case gets really dusty and if there is alot of humidity in the air it can push small amounts of moisture into the case.
thanks for the install guide.. and not to be one of those assholes.. but please use more light on your vids.. we can't see shit
:(
thanks for the vid tho.

Hi, do I need to install the fan with the Corsair logo facing out of the back of my case or facing towards the inside ?

Excuse my ignorance but does this cooler come with the cooling liquid already in it?

@registerme2 hello genius, that gray square is the thermal paste that corsair preapplies to all of their h series.

can you flip the radiator so the pipes dont run onto the gpu?

@IBLoodSHoT Do you mean make them run by the top of the case, then yes!

@speedstangsixtyfiv3 Look trust me you don't want a dusty rad because it;s a pain in the ass to clean, trust on this one :D

@0mar32 Exhaust fan ftw! but what would one do if it the liquid evaporated?
12me91 2 months ago
@12me91 I think they make the coolant"Liquid" with a high Boiling Point so it won't evaporate under any circumstance.
0mar32 2 months ago
dont you think its better to take in the air instead of exhaust ? intaked air is always cooler ?

@iNurul15 It's pre-filled with the "water" coolant, you don't have to do anything to the "thingy"!! :D

it is quite a lot harder to install than they say... but once u achieve installation, it runs quietly and cools efficiently!

It is necessary to apply thermal grease on the processor?
alvaroalejan4 4 months ago
@alvaroalejan4 On the hydro series of coolers from corsair it isn't necessary as there's pre-applied themal grease :D

@alho09 It's not hard, you can do it much faster than this but I do it slowly so people who are trying to do the same can do it right.

just to be clear, the fan header that is designated for the cpu, you plug the h60 into that one?
spiceyxxwiener 6 months ago
@spiceyxxwiener No, you're wrong the H60 gets plugged into either the power supply or the PWR_FAN header on your motherboard
0mar32 6 months ago
@0mar32 yes omar your right. thanks omar. for clearing that up.
