  • Simple, when you don't step on any plate, the left door has power. When you step on the right plate, the left door has no power. However when you step on the left plate, you give power to the left door through the left plate directly to the door. The only solution is to make the left pressure plate one block away from the left door.

  • i've had the same problem, i suspect that you are trying to put pressure plates on both sides? if so, ive never worked out a solution for that. what i did was make it so that the wiring only touches the right plate and then just out on the left plate unwired (it still gives the symetrical effect, but if you dont like it, you can just keep the right/working plate).

you can keep the doors open because you usually step on both plates at once

  • I think you have a few options (I don't know if they will work but they might)

    1) you might be trying to make the red-stone go to far by adding that extra link(15=max)

    2) You should try to make the system cleaner and more symmetrical like the test at the beginning (sometimes changing the lengths and making them more alike they work better

    3) Simply re wire the whole thing and hope you do something different that works. Do 3 after you have checked the other ones

    Hopefully this will help you.
