This is exactly why I love ZvT and Broodwar! So friggin' EPIC. SC2 is fun to watch but.. so far I haven't quite gotten the same kind of buzz from it, and when you compare it to games like this one...

Or maybe its your awesome commentating Nuke? I'd still like to see you cast a GSL knockout stage game in SC2, just to see if its your commentating that adds that extra awesome or if Broodwar simply always will be better ;)

@h2ons i think SC2 is great also, but not the same feeling. It hasnt the same soul. +, its so much whining about "thats not balanced, that must be fix, my w/l is bad." BW is finished game, no more patching, its perfect and always keeps itself fresh with crazy strats. Could sit hours of hours and watch BW. Im not lying if i say it is the greates game ever. PS. PvP i think its more epic, because of high health, long battles and storms, frickin storms. TvT with dropship also epic!

why dont the pros just spread out the queens with their 300 apm?

@crorens spreading them is harder then it sounds - remember all queens need to converge to the same relativly small area (range of attack from clump of tanks) in the same time - if they come one after the other goliaths will pick them off quickly and the zerg will lose army while this happens.

basically to spread your queens you need while microing your army to perform a 'pincer' attack on the terran's clump of tanks with your queens. this is far from easy, even with 300 apm.

Fantasy used the EMP in his game against SoO in the Round of 16 on the exact same map. He just rendered useless SoO's queens. Hyuk probably studied this game but still didn't find the way to counter this very well (The aggressive mutas was probably his main source of power.)

what can zerg do bs this? maybe dark swarm over hydras? take more bases? hyuk had some 3k minerals stocked up. if you survive muta harass than mech seems literally unstoppable as Z.

Epic game! I thought Hyuk got that but Fantasy's just a beast. I wonder why Hyuk delayed Ov speed so much and didn't keep overlords with his hydras throughout the whole game... That and EMP. Fantasy used it last time against some other zerg in this season of the OSL... I think it's becoming standard in this map bcs it's too hard for zergs to get a 5th expo... great game thanks Nuke!
