  • extremely helpful to me. Thanks for posting it. There are a lot of options for cleaning and the kit I purchased came with a combination lubricant & cleanser. Do you think that having a separate spray is a better option?

  • extremely helpful to me. Thanks for posting it.

  • Only thing you are lacking is an explanation of what the products are that you are using and differences between them. Thanks for posting.

  • @MDS1958 I do have videos on that, but that is a great critique. Thanks for the comment, I will make sure to add that in later to other cleaning videos.

  • Question: what size brass brush are you using on the barrel? It looks nicely over-sized. The Red Head and Winchester brushes for 45 cal. I've gotten aren't a tight enough fit. Would you recommend a .50 caliber brush for .45 ACP barrel for thorough cleaning? Nice and detailed video. Thanks.

  • @MDS1958 I forget which one it is, it is a 45 brush, just do not know the brand. It might be a Tipton is memory serves me right. I use the right size on barrels and do not recommend .50 on .45.... Thanks for commenting..

  • difference between the Royal Purple Gun Oil and Militec-1?

  • @aannkk Royal Purple is thinner, much thinner. I use it on the inside of the barrel. Militec-1 or Mpro-7 LPX is my favorite gun oil on all the other parts....

  • Just bought my M & P .45 and could not be happier. For now anyway. Great instructional video for those of us who are mechanically challenged. Cant wait to clean it. Thnaks again.

  • @MrAlanrox Anytime, thanks for checking in...

  • Ordered some Ballistol today from firehawktech - competitive pricing. Check out an interesting history of this oil/cleaner. There is a section about unusual uses that includes dippipng a shaving razor blade in some of this oil to significantly extend the razor's life.

  • @glocky2 I saw that, that is really interesting, but ain't doing it...lol

  • Great video, very thorough, and several funny lines! Thanks!

  • @timthewelder1 You mean if some is on the plastic?

  • Rust is contagious, be careful with that screwdriver. Being that it's a craftsman just bring the friggen thing in and get a new one at sears.
