ah, just so you know, all that cheese you're eating there most likely contains animal...

it's called rennet. it's an enzyme added to cheese. and most companies use animal rennet. Animal rennet is taken from the inside lining of calves stomachs.

Just plants. We all wish we could get nutrients from the sun like phytoplankton. But we can't. So we can either eat plants or animals. A plant doesn't suffer, nor care this it's life is ending (only because it can't care). If you respect all life then do the least harm: go with a plant-based diet.

To the028's comment: no, McDs fries dont have beef extractin them anymore and they are cooked in 100% vegetable oil, but Chic-fil-A waffle fries do have beef tallow in them, so vegetarians beware!

at taco bell, you can get bean burritos. burger king has the bk veggie. mcdonald's has salads. you learn these things quickly.

Taco Bell is the bomb. The cheese is rennetless, and the refried beans have no lard. Just be careful about the sour cream--it may contain gelatin. You can also substitute beans for any meat. My veggie family of 7 can always get a meal there for >$20

The veggie burgers at Burger King are just Morning Star frozen patties you can get from any decent grocery store, BK's price is a rip-off for this, can get a whole box of 4 patties for about the price of just one of BK's veggie burgers = forget that.
