  • You did a great Job on this Commercial...You made me wanna buy one and I'm afraid of Heights...Bravo!

  • Hahaha great commercial, I want one!

  • Good thing you came back fast...I was gonna say; your fuel tank is almost empty

  • Interesting,..i like this video..superb.

  • Love how simple you make it look, how can I get started!

  • FLY-EEN

  • Hey buddy! Is this the Ninja?

  • @TheBadkarma566 No that was the Flat Top 200 as this is an older video. The Flat Top Ninja is even better!! All the latest videos you will see every flying the Flat Top Ninja as it is the ultimate paramotor right now.

  • This guy is seriously one of the high lords of paramotoring!!!

  • Steve Jobs in his early days.

  • Is this safe to fly in Hawaii? The winds can be so rough, I remember a flight instructor said that they had to replace their line of Diamond two seater aircraft for four seater Cessna 172's because of the strong winds.

  • @EasternMerchant Yes Hawaii is an awesome place to fly. These aircraft can deal with much higher winds and stronger conditions that most small aircraft.

  • @imasuper0308 wow really? Fabric Parachutes can deal with stronger winds than composite aircraft? I don't mean to sound cynical, but I am wondering how it's possible for a Fabric wing to handle something that a composite wing has a problem with?

  • @EasternMerchant Yes when you learn about paragliders it is quite shocking. Most aircraft would be grounded in a 25mph cross wind. To a paraglider there is no such thing as a cross wind as you can launch & land vertically in wind like that. With a fixed wing when you get nailed with rough air you can easily be throw into an attitude where your velocity skyrockets. Since a paraglider can collapse and absorb energy it can stay above you to control your decent rate. WPPGA zero deaths to date!

  • @imasuper0308 Interesting, so basically it's like a Giant Aerial Jellyfish! HAH!

  • woohoo!!

  • @88MaverickMovies The Paramania is a nightmare death trap that can't pass ANY certifications at all. More people have died on Paramania and stupid reflex death traps than all others combined in the last couple years. Zero people have ever died on a K2 and the performance and handling is much better so who in their right mind would fly an uncertified death trap? A guy in Monument Valley just did a backflip when his death trap paramania collapsed and crashed. Yikes!! Stay off the junk!!

  • I'm only 16 but love aviation and Powered Paragliding, if I had the money would I be able to purchase and fly one of these?

  • @soxeyer Yes for sure. There is no age limit and my 14 year old daugher flies and so does my son. So no problem at 16. It is a total blast.

  • could i get one like that in the UK?

  • @armouredhen30 Yes no problem. Just contact U-Turn USA and they can help you with the details.

  • FRIGGING AWESOME. THIS DUDE IS AMAZINGLY FAST.

  • Comment removed

  • @gcbc97 How? Zero people have ever died on WPPGA Certified Equipment. How is a safety rating like that nuts? These things are freaking awesome as long as you get WPPGA certified gear and instruction. Yes there are a bunch of idiots out there like the usppa scam pretending to be instructors when they've never had a day of instruction in their life so make for darn sure you are dealing with a master pilot who knows what they are doing and your odds of dying are currently zero.

  • how far and how fast could you go with one tank filling?

  • @flashpeter91 It can go up to 280 miles with the dual tank option that gives you 5 gallons of gas.

  • dear santa...

  • Question: may 2 people ride a powered paraglider?

  • @teocientifico Yes just watch some of my other videos. The Flat Top will carry over 600 lbs!!! Tandem is no problem at all. If you want to talk to the experts just call them at 800-707-2525.

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • I can't imagine after watching all those crazy contraptions and funny looking gliders from back in the day, that someone would could actually build one that works. This is freaking amazing.

  • I have a very good idea but I don't know if it's already in production but since flying a paraglider is mostly limited by turbulence because of the danger of the shoot collapsing and since the kite boarders have solves the problem of soft construction and are able to fly their kites in the most trying conditions, it would make sense to combine the paraglider with the semi inflatable construction of the kite used for kiteboarding eliminating some of the risk and expanding the flying envelope.

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife There are lots of details and yes they have been tried. The latest paragliders are freaking awesome. Zero people have ever died on WPPGA certified equipment to this date. Collapses are actually a good thing, it allows the wing to absorb energy without throwing the pilot into an unrecoverable attitude. A fixed wing like a hang glider can get flipped over in rough air, a paraglider is like jungle jim's inflatable play land. Jump on it and it pops back open.

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife Paragliders are specifically made to be flown mid day in active thermic conditions. Not sure why you would say they can't fly in turbulence. That's specifically what they are designed to do and they can take more adverse conditions than even a Cessna.

  • @imasuper0308 As the video says the police have a limited window to fly their missions in. Paragliders are not built or designed to withstand heavy turbulence. In fact most accidents with wing collapsing are a result of excessive turbulence.

  • @SquirrelFromGradLife Oh you are talking about the police department in Florida who got conned into Dudek wings. Totally different. Reflex wings are complete death trap nightmares and even the manufacturers don't recommend you fly them in thermals. Paragliders are specifically designed as gliders. Gliders need lift to fly. Lift comes from from thermic activity during the day where the hot air rises. That thermic activity is turbulence. Yes we can fly all day long. Watch for scams.

  • Do you guy have classes in Wisconsin? I would love to do this! I'm 15 and my dad is letting me pick stuff to do for the summer, I've always wanted to fly a paramotor, but I can't find one... Please reply...

  • @Jlamers69 Yes we do this all the time. We just trained a 13 year old who became the world's youngest pilot. Give us a call anytime at 800-707-2525 and we can tell you the best way to get started and hook you up with the world's best instructors.

  • How much?

  • @santran You can get good certified equipment for as little as $6000. Just call U-Turn USA at 800-707-2525 as they carry all the major brands and both new & used gear and always have something awesome in your price range.

  • Look at the gas tank... very low XD

  • @FastEngine Yes it is extremely important to keep your gas very low for many reasons. First the lower the weight the lower the center of gravity which is important for safety reasons. Then you want to keep the heavy fuel as far away from the center of the prop as possible to work as a natural counter balance for torque. Then in case of fire it is important to have the fuel pumped up to the engine so if you shut the engine off the fuel stops flowing. The tank is also well protected on a FT.

  • buy paramania revo2 ! its a reflex much safer and its much faster in the wind. the cima k2 is an old glider, basic and slow. have a look

  • @88MaverickMovies Are you insane or do you intentionally want to kill people? The Paramania revo is the #1 WORST glider on the market and more people have died on that crap in the last year or so than all other brands combined. ZERO reflex gliders can pass ANY level of safety certifications, they are total nightmare death traps. Plus their performance sucks! Why make comments when you know nothing about the sport. You can get people killed recommending crap like Paramania. Freaking nuts!

  • This looks completely awesome! I FINALLY found a job and I know now what I'm saving my money for! Spring of 2012- goal- new powered paraglider!

  • UUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHUUUUUUU

  • Great video!!!!!....You sell the flat top paramotor so I expect you to promote them......however, I recently witnessed someone with a brand new cima k2 ( I had a chance to kite it.....holy crap the thing practically flies itself...lol) and a blackhawk paramotor launch on a near zero wind day at 7000 ft....with that in mind, which is more important to you.....the wing or the motor? I realize that thrust and motor weight are issues but it seems that a good wing would be most important.

  • @sgtstubblefield Interestingly enough the paramotor is the #1 thing to save your butt in a crash as long as you are on any brand of good certified glider. The Flat Top crumple zone, protection from the prop, handless seating harness and all the other safety features are the biggest safety factors in the sport. Flat Top first, paraglider second, reserve 3rd. That's how it ranks for safety. Forget Black Hawk, the 313 for example is 21 lbs heavier than the Ninja but with less power. Yuck.

  • Ah, good ole' Utah Lake.

  • when i am old enough 18 or something i will want to fly!!!! the bad thing is i am 10 and i am afraid of hieghts

  • @MrLolz222 My son is 10 and he flies:).

  • His chute is made of WalMart bags

  • I have a load of questions, though. How much does it cost? How easy is it to learn, or are lessons absolutely necessary? How much do lessons usually cost? Is this legal everywhere?

I'm usually not so curious, I'm just VERY highly interested. :)

  • LET'S GO FLYING!

  • @SepulvedaArts ANYTIME! 800-707-2525

  • This guy's fucking amazing. I love it. What a rush it must be.

  • @EllyMcCormack You just gotta come try it out sometime! It's a TOTAL BLAST and a life changer! Give me a call so we can take you up sometime or do some lessons: 800-707-2525. Thanks for checking out the vid!

  • he reminds me of flick from bugs life

  • @jakeb8493 Lol..... Thanks for the comment! When are you going to come flying with us?!?!? 800-707-2525

  • @imasuper0308 alright Sooo how much do these run 4 or do u make them ur self

  • @scmember1 Thanks for connecting! I'm a dealer for ALL major brands of Powered Paragliders which means I can get the best prices on the gear. Please take a sec and give me a call so I can give you prices on the gear that will best fit you. There are a lot of options that depend on the pilot's ability, size, and personal preference. I hope to hear back from you! This sport is a total BLAST! 800-707-2525 -Dell-

  • I would really hate to run outa gas

  • @Iprettyawsome We get nearly an hour of flight on a gallon of gas! The great thing about a PPG is how safe they are. If you run out of gas, you can just glide down. If the parachute ever failed, you have a backup chute. It's the safest personal aircraft you can get! When are you going to come join us my friend? Give me a call: 800-707-2525

  • This has to become my new way of going to school! :D

  • @rock3tcat LOL!

  • @rock3tcat lmao DO IT

  • yahooo!!! yeah.

  • @clarky2495 Thanks for the comment! Have you seen our "Enter for a chance to win a Flat-Top Paramotor Contest?" Visit our websites to enter! We are also giving away Super-Elite Lesson packages and discounts on gear! WOW!

  • yahooo!!!

  • Very very nice.

Powered chutes have always looked horribly inefficient to me but that take off and turn looked really good.

The idea of being able to up and go, anywhere, so easily is super appealing.

    Congratulations.

  • One day, this is how I will go to work.

  • @MrTheFroop At least you would get great gas mileage! LOL! When you have some time, plan a trip so you can fly with us. Thanks for the comment and please keep in touch!

  • Can a 15 year old do this?

  • @iRobii We just had a 13 year old set a world record doing it! You can find it in the first few videos on our channel. If you are interested in some lessons, PLEASE give me a call asap so we can plug you into our summer training!

  • I graduate in two years...I'll bet getting this to celebrate!

  • @hoppinglark How many of your friends are going to fly at 10,000 feet for their graduation? JUST YOU! AWESOME! If you can take lessons before graduation, it will put you ahead of the game. Call me so we can set something up - 800-707-2525. Can't wait to see you in the sky with us!

  • do you have branch in Australia ?

  • 2 Questions: I'm kindof a 'big' feller. (300#) What Flat Top would you recommend (and wing) and last: Is there instruction available near 52101?

Thanks. Hope to be doing this very soon as a coordinated 'launch' of a new company I just started and OH YEAH...Who would I contact about doing a custom graphic on the wing?(along with approximate costs)

    Thanks!

  • You make me so jealous. Some day. Some day...

  • Come take a lesson soon!

  • This is literally the coolest thing! I want one!

  • Call me and we will get you a machine! 800-707-2525

  • 本当に飛ぶのがいいですね

    うらやましいな

  • I used to sky dive and broke my leg on my 127th jump. Paramotoring is much safer. I don't currently fly this set-up that Dell is showing here, but I intend to buy this rig: Flat Top EVO 33 HP and the K2 wing. It's lighter and certainly the K2 tests appear much safer. I like your video where you intentionally stall it, collapse it and it recovers EVERY time. Amazing. If the world's number one recommends it - come on folks - use your noodle and get on the bus ! I will contact you in July.

  • I know carrying a reserve chute is possible with a traditional paraglider, is that an option with PPG? Is it possible to easily release the 'chute while airborne?

  • @astrowanabe Yes we carry reserves on the paramotor as well for sure. Yes they are easy to use and now with the new Super Mini Reserve it weighs only 3 lbs. Super duper light.

  • woooohh!!

  • this is awesome... sounds liek a big plastic bag when he puts it away lol

  • Bobcat bobcat bobcat..... Ligh tpole light pole lightpole.... Man he made it....

  • Comment removed

  • ...one of the luckiest man !! I would live in USA, too - here in Germany it's a bit more difficult to get a licence i think so. Thanks for the Vid.

  • Whats is safer hang gliding, paragliding or powered paragliding ?

  • @coopmuch56 Hang Gliding and paragliding are similar in safety, paramotoring is about 100 times safer than both of them. First the paramotor doesn't need or usually get flown in active thermic conditions right near the ground and WPPGA certified paramotors like the Flat Top add 16-18 inches of crumple zone which makes a huge improvement in safety in a crash. Zero people have ever died on Flat Top paramotors as of 4/27/2011.

  • What is the top speed? Could this possibly be a daily driver? My daily commute is 160 miles round trip a day and it would be awesome to be able to go one way in about an hour I think it could be worth the investment. It looks safer than a motorcycle and I can only go about 200 miles on 5 gallons on my bike.

  • You need to take your time and double check things when human safety is involved.

BTW, did you notice your gas tank is almost empty?

  • @AnonOrange

Because he knew that he was only going to be flying for a short time?

  • wow this is amazing

  • This is the perfect way for me to sneak into Mexico!

  • I love your enthusiasm! I might have to spend the extra couple of grand to buy from you guys when I get the cash. Great vid!

  • WOO!!!

  • WOW!!! & 4.10.

  • whole video is 4 minutes lol this powerglider is the bad azz

  • How long does it take to learn to fly one of those things?

  • @MrAviation101 With the absolute best instructor and conditions a good solid week can give you a great start. Give me a call anytime at 800-707-2525 and I'll be happy to help you with any questions you have. Dell

  • @imasuper0308 I might just do that! Thanks!!

  • hola amigo de donde sos que bien que volas!!!!!!!! dame tu faceee!!!!! jee

  • If he screamed once more I was going to choke my monitor. But yes, that was really cool, but I am sure you need lessons.

  • how long did it take to learn to fly one of these? and how much r they and could u fly them just about anywere?

  • @B0rnToRoll Take at least a week with a world class WPPGA certified instructor to master the basics and U-Turn sells everything and has packages from $5000 on up to the ultimate price is no object setups being only about $12,000. Yes you can fly pretty much anywhere other than over a major airport:).

  • @imasuper0308 woah man!! aweseome, one last question, with the paramotor used in this video, if u had a full tank and u were to fly not stop how long can paramotors last in the air.. hours?

  • @B0rnToRoll I've gone 280 miles on 4 gallon with the paramotor in this video. The range and efficiency is quite incredible.

  • wow not even two minutes and ur off!

  • why is his fuel almoust empty?

  • @CiprianOancia Too dang fun to fly! Can't keep enough gas around lol. I fly pretty much every single day. It is sooooo dang fun!!!

  • i wanna buy this?how much it cost? do we need training or its realy simple as u shown?

  • @shailukala $5000-$12,000 for the gear and yes you definitely need training. There are lots of little tricks you wouldn't want to try to figure out on your own. With WPPGA certified training though then you are rocking. Call 800-707-2525 to get started.

  • @xiKyer98x The Flat Top 200 is 65-66 lbs. The new Flat Top Ninja which is the new ultimate is only 54 lbs with even more power. Very cool stuff right now. Biggest advancements in technology we've ever seen.

  • HEY FRNDS CHECK OUT MY PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE IN HIMALAYAS,INDIA-watch?v=inEbOZjCcs0

  • HEY FRNDS CHECK OUT MY PARAGLIDING ADVENTURE IN HIMALAYAS,INDIA-watch?v=inEbOZjCcs0

  • You can pay the same for a trike and a chute. I think there was some cocaine involved with the production of this video. WooHoo!

  • "lets go flying woohoo"

  • are there any laws conserning flying powered hang gliders in public areas

  • where was this video filmed?

  • Are these legal everywhere and does it take training to fly one or not? thanx i am definatly interested

  • landings not as easy as this dude make it look

  • you make it look easy, but I would shit down my pants as if the glider folds, I would be a dead dog. So definitively I would like that stuff as long as I can keep flying just 5 meters above the ground and not doing acrobatics in the air as you did. Alot of peole have smashed themselves against the ground headwards, or falling on their back

  • @match20045 If you have to argue why it shouldn't be done, it's probably not for you. You should probably just sit back in your chair and watch videos of interesting people doing exciting things.

  • does the helmet come with it? what kind of helmet is that and were can i get one

  • @AdventuresOfMrQuest That is a pretty cool helmet huh?! They are available from U-Turn USA. Just follow the link in the description text of this video.

  • how much for 1?

  • @Crunchieman $4000-$12,000. Give me a call if you would like detailed specifics as to the differences. Thanks, Dell 800-707-2525

  • to you not think you should make a start check

  • @DJMSandWB Yes the preflight check was already made.

  • im here in the philippines how much would it cost to be shipped here ofcourse the whole price. and if ever will it be shipped in parts and we would have to figure it out ourselves on how to assemble it?

  • @rouvers Yes it can be shipped to your area. Usually the they are just broken down to where the cage is take off along with the prop so it takes only a couple minutes to put it together. Email me directly if you are serious and I'll be happy to check some shipping prices for you.

  • I noticed you didn't have very much gas in the tank. I am knocking on 60 yrs, could I handle this thing?

  • @musketman2008 Yes good observation. The gas was only because I didn't bother gasing up to do this video as I knew I was only going to be in the air less than 60 seconds. Normally I would fly with a full tank. Yes a typical 60 year old can easily handle the weight. Plus with the new Flat Top Ninja & 120 there are even lighter options as well. I have 11 vertibre fused together from a motorcycle accident and I can still handle the motor quite easily. It is more skill than pysical.

  • do you have a reserve shoot with that???

  • @thebmxben89 Yes you should always fly with a reserve for sure.

  • @thebmxben89 do you mean a spare or an emergency shoot ?

  • show brother!!! tb estarei voando em breve aqui em mossoro rn

    ass: kbção =D

  • Cool

  • awsome video

  • if i've never done any sort of aviation or pilot training and want to possibly buy, and get into this, where would i start?

  • @jayjaykayo First plan would be to give me a call and chat. I can help you with everything you would possibly want to know and point you towards the very best equipment for you on the market. I'm the National Champion as well as the WPSDA World Champion so I'm a good guy to chat with on this sport. It is seriously freaking cool if you get the right gear and training so give me a call and I'll tell you the right way to do it. Dell 800-707-2525

  • @jayjaykayo go for a skydive at your local skydive club then you will know what it feels like to be high up and under a canopy , if you still like it after that then your meant to fly

  • paragliding looks sketchy

  • @Dsaubt It is actually incredibly safe. Zero people have ever died or even been injured on the setup in this video.

  • qual a pocibilidade de fazer uma doaçao de um equipamento como esse, gosto muito desse esporte mas não tenho condições de comprar um, de de ja agradeço;......antoniocelsoaugusto@gmail.com

  • I like the idea of flying a foot off the ground because heights scare the shit out of me.

  • JESUS CHRIST IS KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

  • Three questions somebody please answer them!

    1. Are they comfortable? Because when i go paragliding my glider has a sort or seat made out of straps. How do these support your weight?

    2. Can you get expandable tanks for the motor? If not what is the proximate flight time at a reasonably high altitude at full tilt?

    Thanks guys.

  • @quagmire475 These are very comfortable. I've been airborne over 7 hrs straight and it is even more comfortable than my BMW or Porsche. The Flat Top has a rigid structure with a cloth strapping seat so the seat is held open in flight like a lawn chair making it super duper comfy. It also has fully adjustable lumbar support. Not sure why it is more comfortable than a BMW but on a 7 hr flight or drive you will by far be more comfortable in the Flat Top. Yes you can add dual tanks for 3-6hrs.

  • @imasuper0308 Thank you, i will now take some paragliding lessons, i imagine you have to do that before actually paramotoring.

  • @quagmire475 Yes & no. Getting a master instructor is really the key. Instruction is everything and will save you a ton if you do it right. Glider control is the most important, it doesn't matter if you free fly or motor from there but totally mastering control of your glider is the most important thing to do right up front.

  • @imasuper0308 so get the instruction on plain para gliders? or can you be taught on PPG?

  • @quagmire475 First you need at least 4-6 days of nothing but glider control and a ton of hops off a short 10-15 ft hill or something. Then it doesn't matter if you free fly, motor or tow for your first flights. Just the first 4-6 days of nothing but kiting from someone that really knows how is the important thing. That's what makes people into awesome pilots.

  • @imasuper0308 Ah I see, so you need to build a solid foundation of generic glider training to simply learn the feel of how the fundamentalists works.

  • Do you have a dealer in the UK sir?

  • @paulojunior201 Yes you can contact UKPPG over there or if you have any questions feel free to contact U-Turn USA as well.

  • @imasuper0308 Alright! Thank you very much sir!

  • genious

  • Do you ship to, or have a dealer in Australia?

  • @legaff Yes we do on both of those. Give me a call with skype if you like and I'll be happy to get you pointed in the right direction. 801-631-1731. Dell

  • @imasuper0308 thats a very cool video, so how much does everything in this video cost, the parachute, the harness, the lines all of that. Whats the final price as in the video???

  • @prijedor11 Currently the ultimate gear to get if price is no object would be a K2 paraglider at $3800, the new Flat Top Ninja at $7300 and a reserve at $700 or $1100 depending on your weight. We carry over 200 different makes & models though so if you need to get the price down we have lots of other options but if you want the very best and safest setup this would definitely be it right now.

  • that's hella convenient! i have helped traditional paragliders take off from mountain peaks when there's hardly any wind, they have such a hard time getting airborne. one question though, is there any risk of the chute getting caught in the propeller??

  • @heirihunziker Ah no wind launches are easy if you have a K2 and the right training. No unless you drop the glider right on top of yourself you don't ever get the lines in your prop.

  • Awesome flying today!!! Soooo dang fun!!! I was tearing through the very tall weeds with my Flat Top and will post the video shortly. The Flat Top rocks!!!

  • Do you pay for equipment one time or is there payment plans?

  • @Messo7 There are lots of different options and different ways to get financing if you are interested. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to talk about it. Thanks, Dell 800-707-2525

  • wooowwww that amazing!! how do u control it?

  • @piratelord99 You have brake toggles and a throttle in your hands. Pull left to turn left and right for right. Add throttle to climb and let off to decend. Fun stuff man, this is seriously slick. Your own personal backpack aircraft you can take with you anywhere.

  • @imasuper0308 awesome...so how much did it cost? or did u make it yourself?

  • @piratelord99 The ultimate right now is the Flat Top paramotor with the K2 paraglider. A complete package including reserve parachute and everything is only about $11,000. Cheaper stuff is down near $5000. Feel free to call me directly if you would like more details about everything. Dell 800-707-2525

  • @imasuper0308 thats legit. lol but im just a kid still needa get thru university, but in the future ill probably buy one of these or a gyrocopter

  • @piratelord99 Yeah, same here. I'm gonna start saving up and maybe I can get one when I'm older.
