Talking about Thomaskantoren, I was trying to find any recording of any composition by Johann Gottlob Harrer, the Kantor who substituted J S Bach when he died in Leipzig in 1750 - Harrer worked there for 5 years, from 1750 to 1755, when he died. I haven´t found any recording of his works, anywhere, incluidng amazon and Deutsche ( German )Amazon. No one has recorded any work of him?
Which church is this? When I met Kantor Biller at the Bachfest in 2000 I asked him, jokingly, why he didn't wear a gown when he was conducting the choir. (Bach once said that he wondered whether he should have changed a capellmeister's livery for a cantor's gown, when he moved from Cothen to Leipzig).

that makes me so sad. Rotzsch was the best Thomaskantor of all time i think. And Mr. Biller i heard a few month ago has a really nice voice...
