i bought a sprint 2 when i started and i still have it and im not the best but im pretty good from starting with this car.... my buddy has a e10 drift from hpi and i have tried it and in my opinon the sprint 2 is best hands down for beginners... also you should pick up some hpi T-drift tires the pvc ones they slid great for beginners and when you get better get A-drift tires for more speed and a all around better drift ahah i sould like a salesman for hpi

well if u a newb, u should use the electric ones that has 23 turn engine and t-drift tires... ohh and ur rc must be all wheel drive...the tuning does't cost much according to your skill but the car cost a lot.....if ur rich u should buy the hb cyclone that has a lot of tuning parts to buy including some accsesories... and it can be converted to grip-racing by simply changing the tires...if ur kinda poor u can buy the e10 drift that is all drift tuned and reddy to run...

it's too hard to drift with only rear-wheel drive, jij don't have rotations in the front, which make's it able to "slide" with, with only rear wheel you just start spinning..

Hey umm today i bought drift tyres and was quick to try them out but they didn't really work... all that happened was the front wheels span more than the back and it wouldn't turn. please help me out someone. I have a TA05 btw. Thanks

jackass - hey dude, check if your car has a clutch mechanism and if so adjust it, if not try making sure that all your drive gear (front and back wheels) are all nice and tight, I had the same problem :)
