  • 0:25 One of the most epic scenes in horror film history! I love Nosferatu!

Max Shrecks version is how I picture Bram Stokers Dracula....

(Lon Chaney's unmasking in 1925 Phantom of the Opera is really epic too!)

  • Nosferatu, all the Dracula films untill 2000 (not after), Lost Boys (the first) and Vampira rocks! Its so much better than the twilight shit and anything which is close to it! I can stand True Blood, but not Vampire Knight of Vampire Diaries! Call me an old fart xD

  • @Darkangelrock92 Old fart? not at all, these vampires kick ass..and those from twilight and vampire diaries could take a lesson from this motherfucker (nosferatu) on how to be a real vampire..shit he scares the hell out of me and this was made in 1922!

  • cross-eyed and being scared at the same time

    0:33

  • Imagine what it must have been like to see this in 1921!

  • @Cocarat206

It was rereleased in 1930 when they were working on the Bela Lugosi version, but presumably Flo Stoker got a cut that time of any profits.

  • its so funny how da vampire jus rises out of da coffin

  • check out my nosferatu video tribute

  • maaaaaan that film means so much to me

  • lmao i love nosferatu, like its so old, and alot of people dont know about it, but it was the first broadcasted person impersonating a vampire, and its so rad, i think they should make shirts that say 'nosferatu is my home boy!' cuz id totally wear them! xD

  • Hey, the sounds not working!!!

    Joke.

Scariest part of the movie, if you ask me.

  • if its a vampire how come its out in the day

  • They shot that scene in the daytime. I'm still trying to figure out why they did that.

  • In 1922 it would have been pretty much impossible to shoot a sequence like this at night time, partly due to the film stocks and lenses available at the time. I think the film was supposed to be watched colour tinted, with the night time scenes tinted blue.

  • Yeah, that could be the case.

  • True that!

  • @blackdaleksec

I have both a B&W and a tinted version of the film, and the tinted one is MUCH better, especially when Nosferatu wanders in town holding his coffin... But still, this movie rules.

  • i love this film

butt i dont have the balls

towatch it by my self dude...!

  • Holy fucking shit. What an incredibly eerie performance. Amazing.

  • white china

  • hey, isn't Orlok walking in pure daylight, or am I mistaken?

  • yeah but i think by old film standards it would have been difficult to have filmed it at night, especially on a ship.

  • Max Schreck is god.

  • shit ill jump off 2 if i was stuck on a ship with him

  • One of the greatest silent films ever!

  • um dos fimes mais perfeitos de todos os tempos!

  • This is the only movie in the world that have made me to pee in my pants...LOL

Also gave me lots of nightmares, and I couldnt sleep by a entire week!!!!XD

Thank you dor posting this scene :p

  • @alucardcruzbelmont20 I used to have nightmares for a few days after watching this movie too! Count Orlock is one scary monster!

  • awesome!
