  • What boat make is the Australians'?

  • That is how you row a pair. Start at tap down, let the boat run. Don't rush your hands away when the boat is at it's fastest. This gives a solid platform giving even better control into catch. Fully extended and when blade is locked in a very controlled leg drive holding back angle constant ( or to put it another way handle moves with seat). Legs down and back traps, deltoids and arms cannot increase the speed of the shell but can keep it consistent and set you up for the next cycle. D & D, gold

  • The Aussies in this race at the thousand:

"Are you still here? Were leaving now."

  • Yeah NZ are pretty unstoppable atm! Hodgey and reed reeling them in though!

  • Typical aussies vs new zealand racing, NZ try and go mental and be really strong whilst the aussies just relax and look awesome. There was no point in this race where i thought nz might win, just look at those aussies. Beautiful.

  • see i havent seen anything of the aussies pair this year, but we cannot agrue that this year the NZ pair are brilliant. cannot wait till we see GB aussies and NZ all in one race.

  • cannot agrue that this year the NZ are nothing but brilliant atm*

  • Is this demonstration of pairs racing the ultimate display for the event at WC level? Maybe the mens pair St Catherines 1999 WC would be comparable in the pre Olympic year cycle. Has anyone got a video of that race?

  • yeh nice work guys

  • congrats Drew, looks like more gold for you and Duncan next year at the Greatest Show on Earth (touch wood)
