there is no line above the net in volleyball, it's all about the ball. if the ball isn't partially over the net on the hit, then it's considered over. I'm not saying he didn't hit the net, but the ref called over. I agree with jonathank18, learn the rules and signals of the ref. and you can't go over as much as you want on a hit. if it's the 3rd hit on the other side then you may for a block, but never for a hit. you really need to learn volleyball before you start posting comments.

A) The ball had not crossed the plane and so it's an illegal attack

B) He obviously netted as you can clearly see his hand touch the net after the play

C) The ref saw the net and the illegal attack and gave the ball to the other team as you can clearly see at the end of the play.

I've been playing and ref'ing for over 20 years and this is a no brainer to call.
