  • Best Pilot ever....

  • That is fckn brilliant , and some idiots decided to disagree ?

  • Pro.

  • That is why pilots earn good money

He landed that not the auto pilot

  • well done

  • This pilot is fucking awesome.

  • браво пилотам

  • The Singapore Airline pilot is using crosswind landing..

  • Im proud to be Singaporean.... :D

  • <3

  • Can't the airport simply turn the runway into the wind as needed?

  • singapore?

  • летчик, красава, четко сработал...

  • me on fsx

  • good job mr pilot

  • Thats a SUPER PILOT!!!

  • Ok ! Singapore pilots are very well trained ! I am flying Singapore airlines hence forth ! :D

  • flapping its wings to land

  • 1question .... weres the airport ?????????????

  • Skills

  • That's amazing. I had know idea the wings flex up and down that much or that quickly in turbulant winds. They were almost flapping. Little scary looking from the point of view of someone who is a regular passanger but knows nothing about aviation engineering (aeronautics).

  • I would've hated being a passanger

  • like a boss

  • У пилота стальные яйца!!

  • Nice to see the pilots know their shit.

  • Yes... he is the superb pilot.....

  • Nice Landing Cap. ",

  • woah. that dude can fly. nice job man. the fucking wing was flapping like crazy.

  • wow i just noticed after many years of flying how much the wings can bend

  • Reminds me of the winds we get at Wellington {New Zealand} airport. Not called windy Wellington for nothing. Fucker of a place to land. LOL

  • nice pilot man pfff great

  • This was a nice crab landing

  • great pilot

  • Wow!!! that is a super pilot.

  • Not trying to be a smartass and my knowledge of flying is limited to my father having been a USAF pilot as I was growing up but isn't this really just kind of the pilot doing his job? Although I am sure the landing was softer than 99% of the flts I have had landing in Mumbai or B'lore. Not the international flts but the flts within just local. found out a flt I was on Pune to Mumbai after a VERY I mean VERY scary landing had been I guess unlawfully used to test a pilots emergency procedures.

  • its called cross wind

  • it is me or I see another plane over the horizon at second 0:25 over the upper left section of the wind?, thumbs up if u see it.

  • quem viu aa aza no aviao se entortando

  • @jarbas345 Eu vi balançando.. entortando não.

  • im surprised some dumbass liberal isn't on here whining about how much pilots make...

  • Talk about having the stones under pressure...this pilot shows great composure. Passengers on this plane probably didn't even realise how much talent was behind that stick that brought them back down safely. Well Done!

  • @11mrjarjar do it better and call your mother to record

  • how one may not like it...?

  • @11mrjarjar my dear friend, it is called crosswind landing....during fast and heavy winds.....the plane tends to drift away from the runway, if it is straight....so they try to go against the wind a little bit to align the plane .....so it lands on the runway not in the fields....hope this helps to increase ur knowledge a lill bit...take care

  • @MrSinghinlove oh i see! then it is a good landing lol i don't now much about planes. thank you for the info

  • Esse eh galo!!!!!

  • The guy, actually, is a superb pilot! He gets just down the 15ft windshear zone and alignes the gear to the strip at the last sensible moment. He made Michelin or Goodyear happy with his touch-down, sure, but managed to touch down regularly without stressing his passengersm certainly unaware about the thrift-conditioned alignment during strip approach.

He's a helluva pilot, we all should be like him!

  • @mottelelevi Agreed, except for the stressing the passengers part. I'm sure everyone on the right side of the plane shat their pants when they saw the runway out the right windows....

  • Beautiful touch-down!

  • wow, nice landing, respect ;)

  • you can actullay see the wings jumping before the landing

  • That was a great landing done by people that you can trust to know what they are doing. And the maintance people that keep them in the air also.

  • @TylerReifenberger5

...and let's not forget those who put this tarmac in the right place, for if the strip had been put in another spot; then the pilot would have missed it! And those who delivered the bolts and nuts for the air controller's logic board just in time! But, eh, let's not forget that our biggest gratitude should go to the farmers who produced the carrots eaten by the pilot; without those he would have had bad eyesight and he could have misread his altitude!

  • Nice tail control

  • nice app it is zürich airport ?

  • amazing approach ! nice video ! 5/5

  • its a Singapore Airlines 747, Nice landing btw

  • @JarvisMunji how u know singapore airline?

  • Comment removed

  • and that's how you drift a 747

  • sweet video

  • is that munich?

  • No, it's Zurich.

  • looked like munich, fair enough :)

  • If the wind can make the 747 shake like that... then imagine all the other planes.

  • Amazing - Just think of how many lives that pilot has in the palm of his hands - We get complacent at times when flying...great video!

  • Thats what the driver is paid to do isnt it? I think its more amazing how these aircraft are designed and built.

They can teach monkeys how to ride bikes but not fix them!

  • So i guess that theory works for a surgeon too? "That's just his job" the knife is the real hero? Idiot.

  • Did i say that? YOu obviously dont work in aviation, MONGREL!!

  • lool

  • Im with you Thex, this is a great example of skill + training + engineering, let's not cheapen the whole thing and say it's just the machine.

  • what an amazing perspective! top!

  • : O

  • what a pilot

  • See those wings being hit by the wind!

  • Yes, when landing in a crosswind that is very normal. I find it fun too to go sideways now and then. When Gliding if I find myself too high on final approach I just throw in one of those, drop faster, then kick it out at the desired altitude.

  • Oh, man. Is it really textbook to come in sideways like that? Yikes.

  • Yeah, text book.

  • text book landing ( in wind anyways)
