@IndianLand25 Look I don't want to start anything, but lets put this in basics. A university is a place of higher learning, a place everyone finds a place. Chief was a symbol of the school. Native Americans did suffer much, I give you that, but it is symbolic in such that no matter what happens to the school, good or bad, it will carry on, much like your forefathers did.
I am not a fan of U of I nor will I attend school there, just someone that hates others using race to talk smack.

Agreed. It's been 20 years since I've been to a game and seen him dance, but when I hear the three-in-one, it still brings back those happy memories. NO ONE will EVER take those away from me.
