@flyingtigre1 - I guess you're not familiar with the multiple unmanned projects carried out by NASA: Voyager, Viking, Pathfinder, Hubble, etc., etc. And, by the way, it's spelled "clue".
1:45 is that the sound of the air being sucked out of the camera case? I know its supposed to withstand up to 100ft underwater but doesn't say anything about space on the website
@smeagle9999 but it isn't a problem because under water in 100ft depth the water presses with about 2.9 bar (relatively to air pressure) on the waterproof housing and in space the housing gets a pressure about -1 bar (because of the air inside); the direction of the pressure is the other but that doesn't matter :D
Amazing video! But in the description says "a High Powered rocket launching a Go Pro camera deep into the Earth Atmosphere." I would say that since the atmosphere goes all the way to the floor (that's what we actually breath) the rocket takes the GoPro to the outer levels of the Atmosphere. A bit like in the water.
DUDE! WHY? xD That must have cost so much money^^ I still wonder if you got the video-data via radio-transmission or by recollecting the Cams, but I can't imagine, they survived falling down from 82 km height^^ I know they can survive a lot, but this?^^ I love these vids, awesome, shows that today nearly everyone can be his own little Yuri Gagarin!^^
how did you got it back??

much cheaper and way more effective MISSION right there.
Do you guys rember "space monkey" How much did that cost the U.S.goverment.?
200 dollar camera on a 100,00 dollar rocket with unlimited data. And no time schedule to return if need bee.
Come on NASA. Get a clew.....

@netwt42oz The black stuff in front of the camera is the camera fairing melting away. Things tend to get warm at those velocities.
