i have the bukky dog on my 05 and it was ridiculus power but my tranny went .....the single disc setup has trouble with the power so i went to a 3 disc setup and its better and i can drive the shit out of it and it will hold up

sorry buddy, the crazy larry is a 230 horse tune. On this truck its another 100 horse over the extreme setting. There are also two more tunes for the chip, scary larry (280), and pedophile larry (320). Its only a smoke show it you don't have enough air flow. With intake, injectors, exhaust, you can run 13s in the quarter mile.

real, cummins get way better milaeg e than any duramax or powerstroke. the comp is tellin im 29, but its really slightly less, around 26 average, and thats not goin slow, reg. driving, they have no intake either, jus a sraight pipe. dodges are the best

sorry buddy, you aren't getting 23mpg. those programmers F the truck's gauge up, u try calculating the mileage by hand. at 23mpg u should get 800mi per tank.

Sorry 2Crash450F, but I have to agree with ZmannR2. I also have a Dodge Cummins (2002 5.9L ISB, not common rail) and I also get about 21-23mpg, while the computer says 25-27 on average, the math shows 21-23. I also have 4.10 gears, not the 3.73 or 3.55. Of course, those numbers are if you can keep your foot out of it most of the tank, the tanks that I kept my foot on it hard I get closer 17-18.

well it's holding together great actually but i dont really get on it that much. I know I'll be paying for it later down the road if I do. It's not that the engine can't take it, but that automatic transmission surely wouldn't like it. But it's fun to whoop camaro's and mustangs I'll tell ya!

Same with my dad. We have the AFE STAGE 2 intake and the turbo screams real nice and there is no turbo lag. I want him to get a straight pipe but he also wants to keep it quiet. Loud on the outside, quiet in the inside. Any suggestions on mods?

on an 06 5.9 there is a nice gain to be had from removing the Cat. Quicker rev and better sound(not much louder tho). Plus a minor gain in mileage for obvious reasons. MBRP makes the 5.9 Cummins Cat delete pipe. I suggest it!! It should still be pretty quiet w/ the muffler(we straight piped though, and it sounds great, but not yet overbearing).CUMMINS POWER :)

true...the new 6.7's aren't as good on gas mileage as the 5.9's were....but they run great! Cummins last forever too, a proven brand. Of course a programmer always helps with gas mileage......i get about 23mpg on the highway

it really is...the only difference sound wise the bully dog made is when your accelerating, you really here the turbo a lot more cuz its working harder now.....but it sounds awesome!
