BTW, aren't many of the presentations here, about how one doesn't have to leave one''s home or office to see a presentation, somewhere else? When will the people promoting and attending these shows, admit the internet and their technology makes this an obsolete venue? They could just mail out a DVD of presentations, to anyone who wants it. Not a very "green" solution, to keep holding a show.

So what's the point of these shows, if Apple isn't even attending anymore. I stopped going to shows like this after the Amiga brand fizzled. One had to go to Amiga Fests, just to find product. I doubt anyone has much of a problem finding Mac wares, that they need a show for it. These things are more of a paid vacation to San Francisco for the vendors.

Interesting. I think I only ever went to one Macworld expo and that was 10 years ago.

I sense there's a hint of abandonment in the air. It's like the life of the party has gone and everyone left is boring.
