I'm not so sure --- I did a song from Riverdance that uses a sax sound in the middle and I think I managed to get a pretty reasonable "sax performance" out of it -- I suspect that an experienced sax player could make the eigenharp produce an extremely convincing sax performance.

@youdhjtube mm! it goes pretty difrent to play than the saxophone! i think will be dificult to get the same in another instrument because the mecanic is all diferent! a diferent technic.. there are a lot of thing that influences on the sound, the best saxophones are made ALL at hand! the holes are perfect the keys... the sound must be round... soo im not sure! ugg you know how much practice hours takes for been a great saxophonist!? thousand... and this instrument looks soo easy.. UGGG!! :/!

@youdhjtube Thats the point; such an intuitive instrument requires a lot of skill, unlike creating on a sequencer with quantization etc on it. People are becoming used to the idea that electronic instruments should do it all for you! playing a wind instrument ain't easy!

BTW - it will only work on a MAC. It's not Windows compatible and you still need to hook it up to your stereo or guitar amp to get any kind of decent sound. $5600 is way too expensive for this toy. I wouldn't call it portable either. You need a computer at all times to hear anything.

@wileysupergenius Sorry it took so long, and I will probably be rquired to delete this post in two days time, however, the wash board technique on Eigen requires a conscious relaxation of anterior wrist muscles. start by placing hands about 4 inches apart in front you, in your mind relax the wrist until it appears broken, then use tendon strength and pure heart to achieve the tapping. When suitable to your needs, put into place on Harp. Thanks, Jessica
