  • I believe that you belong to what your mother was and any "blood" you had from other First Nations is counted towards what you inherited from your mother. So if you were 1/4 Oneida and 1/4 Mohawk and your mother was from the Oneida Nation then you should be counted as 1/2 Oneida.

  • I feel your pain brother i have heard some say that "i don't need" a band card because i already know who i am.But they should try walking in your shoes for awhile, especially since u really look like native. I don't know what the answer is but i feel u'r frustration. The first step is to put down that whiskey and let that cocaine be, and whatever your path is will come to be.O:NEN KI WAHI!

  • Bless you, brother, for doing this.

  • awsome dont give up the fight the tribes need to include all native blood as 1

  • Thank you!! Don Hatch!! for your willingness to empathize and care for change.

  • Im a half breed my mama's enrolled over in canada and they wont let me enroll because my dads white....Soo unfortunatelyyyy I myself have no say in ANY land that is in my grandmothers name. It stresses me out because it makes me myself feel less native over it......Its horrible and absolutely redic.

  • Im part native and have documents to prove it. our land was taken away as well. and they say were not enough for there club. they do this cuz there greedy fucks that want there money so they can live off from the casino. yeah im talking about u stanley crooks of mystic lake at shakopee minnesota!!!

  • I am A Decendent of The Tlingit tribe, and proud of it. My sons are also Tlingit. No matter the percentage they are now, they will always be Native, as will my grandchildren to be. When I am gone my Grandchildrens grandchildren will still be Decendents of the Tlingit people. No card will ever tell me wether I am or am not Native, I am also part white, but I can't prove it.

  • That is crazy not being able to have land from your own people. Need some how to change that.

  • "wha time is it?its indian time!"lol

    kool vid.

  • That is what I am talking about because I live here in oklahoma and half of my family are on the Full blood native dawes rolls and the other half or Freedmens and that is bullshit just bullshit!

  • im making sure i sent this right. Fort Belknap did not sell most of our land shit were about the only rez that kept it real with land sales. we own around 92 or 93 percent of our rez. either it be tribal members owning it our the tribe itself owns it. its hard to here you say we sold it all and all that came from it was material things. sounds just like everyother tribe. There are alot of people on the Fortbelknap reservation who are keeping our culture/language strong and not complaing of land

  • We did not sell all are land we actually are about the only rez in Montana were we as a tribe own more then 92 percent of our land. so the fortbelknap rez did not sell out we actually kept it real interms of land ownership and still are. Its sort of wrong to say they sold out your heritage when there are people on rez keeping our culture and language strong and not complaining about land defining your heritage. plus we lowerd the damn blood quantum to 1/8th

  • 'Siyo Friend hwiseman, tribal governments have the right to establish guidelines for enrollment, however those guidelines are to be in accordance with BIA regulations. Blood quantum is 'husbandry' a system used by farmers/ranchers to keep records for the cross breeding of livestock. Blood quantum is not a traditional American Indian 'thing'. Whose government? Federal & Tribal. The tribes accepted and use blood quantum requirements which equals 'federal recognition' status.

  • That's for sure! Federal recognition status equals livestock control lol. They are controlling us to death. Unfortunately, those "tribal" guidelines keep our numbers smaller than they should be. And the running of our governments? Check out the CNO...a farce and a 1/2. G-d save us from ourselves and bring us back to ourselves so ourselves will prosper the right way and grow. Do outsiders truly understand our genocide?

  • 'Siyo Friend, there are millions of disenfranchised mixed-blood and full-blood American Indians who don't meet certain federal government CDIB requirements for tribal enrollment. Pan-American Indian Assoc. Thank you for speaking for a vast majority of the disenfranchised American Indian.

  • Note, "federal government" requirements. Whose government? Certainly not from our tribal traditions. It's ridiculous, actually.

  • since when does Harlem Montana have totem poles? Where are you from? uit your whining...blood quantum is not everything.

  • he looks mexican!!

  • well most mexicans are native americans.

  • No the're not. Natives can fight.

  • wrong douche. 90% of Mexico is Ameri-Indian

  • Dude, don't compare mexicans to Northern natives. We're not cowards, we can actually fight. Mexicans are only tough when it's 10-1.

  • you're clearly a moron that doesn't know shit about aboriginal american history. if you knew anything you'd know that the Mexica (aztecs) speak the same language as the Comanche, Soshone, Pauite, and Tongva. Do the world a favor and kill yourself

  • I don't think so Paco. I'm talking about honor, class, respect and courtesy which Natives have ,well most of them. Not some beaners who have none of that. Mexicans are mexicans. Stab you in the back sort of ppl. Believe me I know.

  • Wise words. Thank you for sharing this with us on Youtube. :)
