TEC: Militaristic democracy/capitalism with severe problems with bigotry.

Advent: Transhumanists who were probably fairly inoffensive, but exile has made them obsessed with revenge.

But an another point : why do you say "philosophies" and not "religion" ? Do you think there's a link ?

The wanted to create a unified world beliving that the highest german blood is the best to rule, and the lowest bloods must be cleansed from their world. The only similarity to the vasari is conquest, but that can resemble any nation from France to Rome, Persia , Huns, Monguls etc. Its like the roman empire if the city of Rome is lost before the colonies, and a lonely centurio tries to prepare to face whatever defeated Rome

@EchoEnder What I'm wondering is why the TEC's ancestors did that. The Advent wasn't even involved and they just decided to exile them, which is on any level a bad move. Exiling someone you have no relations with whatsoever, aside from them being close to you physically. I'm also wondering who you guys think the bad guys are; the ones who are doing bad things or the ones who created them out of ignorance?

i think the question is why are the advent going on a quest for revenge a thousand years after they were exiled, everyone in the tec who was responsible for it is long dead, most probably dont even remember it anymore.

The advent's ancestors on the other hand used their technology to psionicly connect all its members to each other to pursue knowledge, thus the ambition of 1 individual is no longer a question. However their banishment left an incurable scar on the advent's collective mind. Vengance must be taken. BTW in the intro it says they remember the advent from stories meant to scare children

I couldn't help but think this is what happens if Warhammer 40,000's Tau and Eldar got together.

All the gracefulness of the Eldar with the expansionist mindset of the Tau. Greater Good vs Unity isn't so far apart.

The game comes with 2 DVDs. The 2nd DVD has all the music and any MP3 ripper can get it done.
