  • Bird- Giddiup Pussy

  • LOL. gotta love old cats. :)

  • Good job the bird didnt poo on her

  • haha that is so cool :D

  • What a tolerant kitty

  • the cat is a slave ...

  • Space stations in background lol

  • cute cat!

  • love it......

  • I imagined the bird going "WOOOHOOO!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!" while on top of the cat. It's gone against the food chain and acquired an epic mount.

  • Thats hilarious!

  • OMG this is so priceless!!!!

  • That bird's just disrespectful. Poor putty Tat.

  • Hehe, my first cockatiel used to walk over to my first dog, and climb up on her bed, then on her, then on the garbage can to get to the mirror where he could see his reflection. My dog was afraid of my tiel, though, but this kind of reminds me of that.

  • eheheh :)

  • so cute then gone:(

  • the cat like . just wait intel the guy leave and u will never see the bird again lol xD

  • haha the cat got a wing buffet lol!

  • i bet that bird is thinking"i tricked you monster!"

  • sing to the cat & the bird "you are a pirate"

  • YAW HIGH HO KITTY AWAY!!!

  • Cute

  • it looks like the cat came in front of the tv and the cockatiel climbed on top of her to get a better view:P

  • thats badass lol

  • haha, when your teil gets to her head you can tell the cat is gettin pissed XD

  • my cat & tiel got along just like yours until yesterday.... thank goodness the bird flew away! they were best friends for 9 years~ now they have to be monitored when she is out of her cage :(

you never know with cats.......he's 14 years old & just started chasing birds! i lov them no matter what.

  • The cockatiel wanted a better view of the TV.

  • when the cat turned its head i lol-ed

  • Bet that bird drinks red bull!

  • omg i knew it i saw this on animl planet i love the way ur cat looks its adorble

  • classic!

  • lol

  • It would be even more amusing to see this climbing to some suitable piece of music instead of the TV-sound, but it is also rather funny that the TV is talking of a journey up to a space station while the cockatiel is making its journey up to the cat`s head.

  • i declare this cat in the name of cockatiel :P

  • my moms cat was the same way ^-^ he would let all 4 of my birds climb on his back while he was sleepin...bless his heart... R.I.P Moris, you will be missed T~T

  • Play the Lion King theme, that would sute this vid well ^^

  • I'm king of the cat!

  • that's amaizing! my cockatiel always tries to climb my dog, but my dog is afraid of him so he's running away...

  • poor cat

  • Actually she really loved the birds and would usually purr when they sat on her - especially if they preened her ears. She just wasn't quite in the mood for it when this was filmed.

  • Is there a way to train my new kitten to not attack my cockatial?

  • I don't actually have any experience with training a kitten to leave a bird alone. My cat was a 16-year-old tired and slow old lady when we got the birds. She never went outside or learned to hunt and was even afraid of bugs! She also wore Soft Paws claw caps, which is a MUST for your kitten. Kittens are so full of energy and I won't even try it myself. I recommend researching the web and asking a seasoned avian vet for guidance on how to safely get kitty and bird used to each other. Good luck!

  • Thanks! =]

  • @guleslionrampant USUALLY docile lazy indoor cats will not attack them. Mostly feral cats will. I have a docile cat who is very very mellow and he lets the hampsters walk on him.

  • @guleslionrampant Thats the same with my cat hes so old and he had athritis and he couldnt care less about my cockatiel Slater.

  • Soo cute

  • adorable. so sorry to hear about pretty kitty :( she was cute too. i dont know what id do without my cat.

  • YEEHAW ride 'em cow....bird lol XD

how old is ur Cockatiel? he GORGEOUS aaw ^__^

  • Fabian thanks you for the lovely compliment! He is now a bit over 3 years old, but this video was taken about a year ago. He still misses his kitty.

  • will you be uplading any new videos of Fabian because I think he's SWEEEEET!! :D

  • I upload videos of both my birds (Fabian has a brother, Elvis, who is also featured in many of the videos on my channel) from time to time. Not sure when I'll next do so. Thanks for enjoying Fabian's antics -- he's a little maniac! I really should have named him Ozzy...

  • Cool :) I'll be getting a Cockatiel soon, but I've only got enough for the cage. I still need to do more saving for toys, food etc. Once I've got ALL the goods I'll be uploading some vids ^__^ I can't wait

  • that would be a good album cover, on top of its head

  • You should put a little cowboy hat on the birds head ^^

  • Fabian is famous ^^

  • a little cat scratch or saliva can kill the bird, harmful bacteria cats have, although we are immune to it, birds are not.

  • Learn to relax and maybe you'll live a bit longer yourself. And, incidentally, my avian vet has only seen two cases EVER of that happening, and it involved deep scratches. When I inquired about possible danger, she explained that bird and cat interaction is safe enough if the cat is non-aggressive and they are supervised. My cat loved our birds and never, ever touched a paw to them, she knew to only gently sniff. She passed away two months ago anyway, so leave me alone about it, for God's sake.

  • pointless to say to this video

  • how does that work then? great though lol

  • Great Cat video,

How did your cat get to let that bird walk up him/her?

I have a cat and he can hardly stand other cats.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Annabella was 16 when I got Fabian and his brother, Elvis. At that age she was a little old lady without any desire to swat at them. The birds little by little got closer to her and eventually would climb up and sit on her, sometimes preening her ears, which she quite liked. Sadly she passed away in August at 18. We still miss her horribly.

  • Sorry about the cat. One of my cats had an infection and also died. Are you going to get a new cat now?

  • Thanks, and sorry about your cat too. If I do get another, it won't be for a long time. It's just too soon - grieving process and all. Also, introducing a new cat to birds is always tricky, so I don't know if I want to mess with that or not. Time will tell......

  • lol like climbing mount everest!

byw, sorry for Annabella, cats are cool! actually all animals are, but its worse when a cat or dog goes
