@Corpzmaker91 Never be sure from what you just see...The word ''Ellas'' comes from the word ''el'' ( the name of the 12gods) and the word ''las'' which mean ''area, land''. So ''ellas'' means the land of 12gods :). There is a big propaganda about everything in ellas like our history, names, the realationship between God (the creator) and the 12 ''gods'' and many more...so the word ''hellas'' would be ''HEL'' and ''las'' ? Fucking hell!!!! lol and this propaganda starts from Byzantium...

@Corpzmaker91 If i am right your myhtology is about Odin, Thor, Loki..isn't it? there are many studies about the relationship between greek and scandinavian mythology which are being hidden from crowd...it is a little boring writting a ton of words...anyway answer me if you want to explain, it is interesting. i just want to say that almost all mythologies are the same . ( odin=zeus, thor=apollon, asgard=olympus(not on the mountain, but somewhere in space),baifrost=gates of olympus and more...)

@xjxspartanxjx I'm Italian [really sorry for the invasion :-( but let's leave it behind as now we are uniteunder the European flag :-)] and I study ancient Greek at school (yes, I love calssical culture) and I think that H written at the beginnig of Ellas is a way to note down the way the first E is pronounced, which I SUPPOSE is still similar to the first sound of the English "here" as it was back in Ancient Greek. Sorry for the bad explanation bad I don't know how to translate the proper word

Also, about the ''H'' in ''Ellas'' it doesn't means anything. It is just the propaganda to hide the first synthetic of the word ''EL -LAS'' cause if you know that your ancestors are the 12 gods then you will not accept the dictatorship from International Monetary Fund which destroys your freedom and wants some money that doesn't exist from a country whichs owes far more less than anyone other!!! it is just the globalization that they are trying to apply, starting with us to see if we'll accept.

Το h στο Hellas δε σημαίνει τίποτα; Κάνεις λάθος.

Παλία στο ελληνικό αλφάβητο (σε αρχαίες επιγραφές) υπήρχε το γράμμα h. Αργότερα καταργήθηκε και πήρε τη θέση του η δασεία. Έτσι οι λέξεις που στο αρχικό φωνήεν έπερναν δασεία ήταν οι λέξεις που άρχιζαν με h. Η λέξη Ελλάς παίρνει δασεία όμως. Στις αρχαίες επιγραφές αν δεις γράφαν ας πούμε hΕΛΛΑΣ, hΥΓΕΙΑ κ.ο.κ. Οι Άγγλοι απλά έχουν κρατήσει τη δασεία.

Sharing opinions and traditions is really what make mankind something amazing. In fact my idea of United Earth is humans mixing up all the different cultures in something new and unique. Something like considering everything men has done as typical of our race, not of justa a single country. Well, now I've got another reason to despite capitalism.
