I was lucky to kill him on my first round..but hes the FASTEST thing i have ever fought god dammit, I'm up to 6th Elder quests and I can still barely dodge his attacks,Especially in rage mode.

@saq149 wow, I don't really remember what armor I had... that was almost two years ago I think. All I remember was I used a sword and shield with thunder attribute. Sorry I can't be more helpful =[

I'll agree that a constructive criticism is the way to go. Get behind Tigrex and warm up your great sword. when he starts to turn around (the two part move) let go and you'll smack him dead in the face. after that roll forward and block as fast as you can and you'll generally defend against his charge. This also works against Nargacuga. (135 narga kills)

dude...easy tips...if you want to attack it...try to attack it limbs first..it will weaken tigrex movement...and then target to its tail...let it suffer to your attacks!!!

I beat this guy with Eager Cleaver after so many attempts with the damned Kut Ku Stave II... I slapped myself on the head when I looked at the armor made from him and saw it had Fire Resistance but not Thunder... he went down like a sack of potatoes when I used the Eager Cleaver lol

@ninjacheese00 improve your best armor as much as possible for the highest def, but for weapon, Eager Cleaver or True Eager Cleaver, or pretty much any weapon with good raw power plus Thunder Attribute works, just avoid getting hit when he rages or you WILL be feeling it in the morning lol

Nice! The very first time I did the Tigrex mission I remeber I was using Sword and Shield. I spend almost all the time of the mission, and when I saw it limping I was so excited. I had tried that mission a lot, and I mean a LOT. After I killed it Tigrex sortta became my favorite monster. And now I have over 100 Tigrex kills XD

You have to break his head. And to have an even bigger % try capturing it.

Actually, by looking at some sources, there's a 5% chance to get a Tigrex Skull Shell by capturing it. On the other hand, there's an 8% chance of getting a Tigrex Skull Shell by breaking it's face and killing it. I don't really know how true this is, I just looked up some info, that's all.

Beating the tigrex is extremely easy, cuz thats how i beat it and i dindnt have to use a single potion. It's just timing, thats all! I used the Ravager blade ++

raw power is sumthin you get from a great sword with no elements interferring with its total damage....i guess.. well it means youre not supposed to get a great sword with an element such as fire,poison(if there is...)etc.

Dont know if you're playing MHF2 or MHP2ndG but in G there is another upgrade after BlushingDame Alvitr Attack: 1200 Sharpness: White DragonAttrib: 240 Defense+10 And after this one there is yet another upgrade... Brynhildr Attack: 1296 Sharpness: White DragonAttrib: 250 Defence+10 Personaly I dont like the Tigrex Weapons cuz they have the low affinity... But I loe the Pumex(Narga Garga) Armor and Weapons... I think I'll post a video soon of my charcter from MHP2ndG.
