Now that's something you don't see, an awesome engine, singing out the RPM's with out being screwed up with stupid music being played. The engine's RPM IS the music, don't make a great video, then edit in stupid music that is not needed, or wanted. Great video, RPM is music to my ears, & yes I turned it up LOUD too!!
@xbones101 ~ I'll tell you something that was NOTHING ~ a 1970 Ford 427-28-29 up against the Chrysler "Elephant" 426 inch hemi, and Richard Petty, with the Superbird body. Petty drove away from the Fords so fast that half the Ford camp had to have handguns pried loose from their hands to keep 'em from killing themselves. Oh yes, the big bad Ford, sort of like today's NASCAR Cup racing ~ Jack Roush can't remember the last time one of his Fords won a championship. Rick Hendrick's Chevys? Well?
@MrRonnieG are talking about bawl baby dodge boys who got both the tunnel port and the SHOC engines banned? they said they would quit nascar if the let ford run these engines so ford had to slow down their cars for the mighty 426 elephant so the chrysler baby's could play.
Ford should have never quit building the FE Series engines. They were well sorted out from years of racing and could have served the whole engine family needs from 332 to 428 and a 454 would have been easy. I can just imagine one with Electronic Fuel Injection. I heard they continued to use them in South America into the late 70's. I think it was 1974 in the US when they were last built.
@n5ifi Yeah, the FE did last much longer in Argentina. So did the "Y" block! Ford made Falcon's powered by 272s, & 292s! I think they made 312s & 340s too. Their "Y" block had different heads with larger valves & normally arranged intake ports. A racing company even made competition aluminum heads for the Argentine "Y" Block!

@n5ifi 1976 was last year for FE, pickups only. Was not an emissions friendly design, nor mpg friendly. Great motors though.
