  • stock talons?

  • That's a sick car, the e revo and the subie

  • Mine did the same exact thing. Adjusted the motor mount but i think the spur gear is worn out.

  • Good park)where is that placed?

  • is that a subaru sti

  • @lilmorris656 WRX. One Step below a STi. I had a programmer for it though so it was putting out more power than a stock STi.

  • @Buferd damn bro respect!

  • This what happened to my Jato 3.3.

Decided to throttle it and the spur gear's teeth must have either got turn up.

Time for metal next time it happens.

  • Oh to live in a place like that :[

  • unlucky mate thats a simple job tho only the spur gone, couple quid fix, and i doubt the motor would have jumped off the spur lol its probably just not meshed right. id go for mod 1 geaering, a lot tougher mate, im going for the fastest erbe land speed soon so watch my youtube :)

  • THREAD LOCKER IS A MUST

  • my e revo can smoke it anytime same motor but i drive better

  • ahhh.... in the park with your rc. and there are trees everywhere... you what tree are for? that right. for crashing into.

  • :O awwww u have an e revo, I WANT ONE SOOOOO BAD!

  • The same happend to me with my buggy

  • In sweden these revos cost over 7000 swedish kronor (About 1000 Dollars )

  • @SweDrift1 then order in germany they are like 600€

  • nice subie!

  • I know for a fact that u have the stock plastic gear in that i did the same thing wen i went double batterys the guy at the shop told me to replace it with a metal one bit i saaid f it and destroyed the gear :(

  • o metal gears work good you people know quite a bit about rc cars :3 i am new to them though with the best battery for mine it will go over 70 i dont know how much over :/

  • soooo tired after watching i could smoke that thing like a cigar with mine XD sry no offense but i state the truth

  • I have a slash 4x4 and one of the main problems is that gear and when I figured it out it never strips ever. Make sure its adjusted right or that will happen a lot.

  • Watching your video makes me wanna cry! My Traxxas E Revo can run a lot faster than that! Are you sure you had it set up right!? There should be proper slack between the pinion gear and the drive gear, too tight and you will hasten the life of the gears, not to mention putting extra stress in the motor, if you set them too far apart, well I guess this video shows exactly what happens.

  • been wondering how exactly to know if motor if replaced properly does it need to be tightly pushed on spur has in very hard or kinda just a bit loose so i dont hear the motor too much.kind of lame explication but if u did understood and u know lol could u let me know thanks

  • how is that a disaster? a screw came loose...

  • The same just happened to me u just gotta adjust the motor height. There's two screws that u just loosen and bring it up or down when the two gears are touching

  • R.I.P.

  • What batteries do you use for the brushless e revo?

  • Ahh... I remember that sweet, sweet noise my Brushless E-MAXX made before I made the mistake of letting someone else drive it and they crashed it and broke it in half. :( But nice vid :)

  • @Some1StoleMyName42

    :-( That's a sad face...

    >:-( That's a pissed off face!

  • SUBARU for the mothafuckinWIN!

  • use loctite to keep the scews in tight

  • If thats the gear on the motor, I've done that many times, the set screw comes loose, sometimes coming off and you lose it. Make sure that thing is reallly tight,

  • how fast does it go???

  • 2x3s 0r 2x6s

  • @aronloomans

    2 Batteries @ 3S = 6S total.

  • what batteries

  • @cooldude7c

    (2) Racers Edge 3S 30c 3400mAh LiPo

  • @Buferd how long do they last

  • @cooldude7c

    about 45min roughly

  • whizkey

  • @WebGuyByron

Hey what's up this is Jonas. Come get me from the liquor store

  • @Buferd - I told you you're not allowed to drink before you leave! This is the third time... in two days...

  • @WebGuyByron

Well there was these two white boys said they'd give us a ride to beaver creek...

  • @Buferd Beaver creek you say? I'll be there in five minutes with the pop up tent and sleeping bag

  • @Buferd~~Great vid! Keep them coming! What do you think your next Rc will be?

Do you ever think you will buy a crawler?

  • @MrLeary1

I think my next video will be the next episode of The Adventures of E-Maxx and T-Maxx. It will be under a new title which we haven't decided on yet but it will be with the Brushless E-Revos and a mini E-revo (vxl) some times.

  • @MrLeary1

as far as a crawler, I have never really wanted one. I like watching them when they have the courses set up at the hobby shops with rocks and stuff.

  • ok, I love most of your videos but you guys suck at planning a head. Bring the tools and a couple spurs if you cant learn how to set your gear mesh and tighten the motor all the way. "that gear" was a spur gear and yes they are plastic. if you put in a metal one you will start destroying diffs and other things that are more expensive and much harder to replace.

  • @nerdyrcdriver

True True! He was kidding when he said that haha it's kinda a joke cause people think "Well, I'll just use a metal gear". I always just stick to the stock parts. I know how to set it with a strip of paper and running it through the gear. I have more recently just gone off "Feel" and I go all the way down then just bring it back up just a little and that has worked fantastic with no slips lately. This video was shot about a month ago so I've had more time to run.

  • @Buferd Ok, I would suggest (if it happens again) just loosen the slipper clutch. You might not be able to do wheelies as easy but you will save money on parts. or you can just dump more money in spur gears. I always keep a couple spare pinions and spurs.

  • @nerdyrcdriver

as far as the tools go... I am usually very good about bringing my Plano pro-latch box that has all my tools and extra parts separated and easy to find. The last two outings I have just been lazy sooo hahaha. Thanks for watching out vids though we really do appreciate the support everyone gives us on our RC adventures.

  • yea it sucks i took a break from mine cause it breaks so much (probrably my aggressive driving) but good filming

  • @WUZIGULUHU

HAHAHA! I feel you. That is RC in general, unless you just run it in parking lots. I have had something break ALMOST every time no matter if it was the E-Maxx or the E-Revo. Luckily though, the E-Revo has been tough and I have only fixed a broken shock cap during the time I have had it. The gear slip, like in this video, is just an adjustment when it does happen. My gear is still good so I will keep running it. Hey! PARTS ARE CHEAP when you do have to replace. I love Traxxas.

  • @Buferd parts aret cheap for me though!! i got my rustler a few years ago with all aluminum parts no plastic and sence then ive put a brushless an many other things on it so its the money pit. but when i was less experienced id run it into a curb and break a wheel off thats what really sucks
