@MW2772 Had he won, Hannibal would've imposed heavier peace terms than Rome put on Carthage. First, Rome would've had to acknowledge and recognize Carthage as the supreme mediterannean power, give up a huge portion of their navy and territories it once ruled, and swear unyielding loyalty to Carthage lest it suffer.
