  • The promotion codes are as follows:

    PIXPRO25

Gives you 12 months free pro membership and $25 in credit toward anything on the site.

    ENJOYYOURSHOW25

Gives you 6 months free pro membership and $25 in SHARE credit which is only valid for dvds, not conversions.

My recommendation is to use PIXPRO25

  • hey bro have u got laid yet????

  • This vid was absolutely useless.

  • whats a Promotion Code

  • First where I live 2 hours is $16 or $17. LOL!

  • Quad core possessor how long would it take to convert Blu ray to H264 Avc High quality. would it take less then 60 minutes. dose any body know ?

  • @camboy1132 Would depend on what quad-core processor you have and how good your video card is.

  • get eye TV man...

  • Chris emailed me and said to watch for Pixorial discounts, well there still isn't any discounts.

  • LoL at 1:15 his make a funny face ;D

  • Damn Chris. I haven't watched one of your vids in a while, but the quality of this video is astounding! What did you use to record this?

  • What is the website???

    Thank You Chris.

  • Chris Pirillo, I like for lack of a better term duck shake at the end. lol

  • Will they convert porn?

  • They convert anything. They don't take ownership of your media, nor do they watch your media... so, the answer is yes.

  • DUDE!!! you should totally grow a gotee

  • @MrKonnorsniper

WOW, I just visualized that, that would actually look fairly good too, but it might make Chris look less geeky.

  • I think this is a wonderful idea. I can just send my tapes in and forget about them. Then later I can view them all in one place knowing that they are backed up on redundant servers. Besides, they make it easy for me to share all my videos with my friends and family and almost all of their services are free after they are converted are free. Thanks Chris.

  • ohh Woz :D

  • where do u get those teck lights?

  • you could upload it in fast forward then slow it down on the comp

  • just had throw in my 5 cents worth but you can use PCI TV cards to convert VHS to digital video formats mostly mpeg format. ;)

  • I've just been recording them to a DVD. Who has the space for an entire video collection in a digital format.

  • it seems kinda expensive. particularly if you have a lot of VHS tapes to convert.

  • Yeah Baby Chris!

  • yeah right..... so i have a tape that is very valuable to me, and is irreplaceable and i rather sent it somewhere where it could be lost in the process and loose my privacy instead of taking a few hours of my free time to do it myself.

    You're a fucking genius.

  • If I had the right hardware, it would only take as long as the video was. Conversion doesn't take that much.

  • Dude if my house burns down today or its struck by a tornado i wouldnt care about some freaking VHS tape that i didnt keep a backup of. I would have a lot of other things to worry about. be realistic. You just talk too much BS.

  • Irreplaceable memories are priceless. You get a $7,000 PC, it'd outdated and no good in 10 years, you have your prom from 20 years ago, it burns, it's gone. You back it up, you save memories you may lose. Also, everything else can be covered by insurance, again, memories cannot.

  • say what if your WHOLE career was computer based, like im planning to do, goin into programming my junior yr of highschool and also taking a networking class sooo yea if you got a game or somthing your makin that taken like a month and your ALMOST done and it gets destroyed i'd kill someone XD

  • Doesn't imemories do the same thing?

  • nice quality

  • Costco does this as well.

  • since my firewire doesn't work right i use my TV tuner card to import my miniDV tapes which really sucks cause there is a lot of noise from the cheap set of output cables that came with the camera.

  • 4:48 wtf

  • 5:52 FTW

  • I love Mini DV

  • wow

  • miniDV? What is that? I haven't even looked at those things for a hella long time!

  • I have tapes in my house on these mini H8 sony video tapes and it's pretty much documenting from 1989 to 2005 and that has pretty much every important milestone of me and my siblings on it.

problem the camera is broken, It kind of works but it only rewinds to a point in likes NEVER to the beginning.

if anyone can help me please.

  • get a new miniDV camcorder..

  • get a Tape Deck, my previous comment, i forgot that it was H8, sorry

  • your cool the tapes that matter marriage, kids, honeymoon, memorable vacations. no keynote speeches

  • I do it myself with a video capture card in my PC. But what I'd like is a software app that can make analog video look better.

  • solution. do the conversion on your PC while you either are at work, or while you are asleep. It would be done by the time you come back. Works for me. I converted 16 videos while I was asleep. all done when I woke up. I use Vdownloader.

  • Looks like you.

  • What about a local analogue-to-digital solution, from VHS tapes?

  • Haha, I used to just hook up my camera to my computer with a Dazzle, and get the video on my computer that way :)

I'm glad I have a new camera now though xP Hard disk for the win~

  • witch kind of camera do you use when you filming your videos?.. :)

  • i actually watched the full video. i found it interesting

  • i think i will unsubscribe this guy it's not that geek by just watching his videos i can tell, and he is a mac fanboy by just looking at his website and youtube page on top of that he do too much advertisement

  • Oh get over it, he likes mac's. It's a computer opperating system, not the end of the world!

  • You do that :P He's not a Mac fanboy, but it doesn't matter. It's not like anyone will miss you anyway ^_^

  • i love my betamax player still working lol

  • I'm surprised those those old tapes still work. My old VHS family video tapes stopped working a long time ago, but I guess the life of those tapes varies greatly by the climate you live in.

  • This kind of service/business as a small life expectancy because peoples have been using digital camera for a while now. My cousin had some old 8mm movies from her parent she had it all put on a DVD some time ago I got a copy for Christmas last year first thing I did was Rip the DVD.

  • The camera loses focus sometimes...

  • in my area im the go to guy for this sort of thing... kinda OK money

  • I usually capture my videos from my Sony DSR-PD170E camera with IEEE 1394 cable to my editing suite.

  • oh good, you don't sound like a chipmunk in this one. i'll watch it.

  • The reason that vid. was chipmunked is cause if he didnt.. it would of gone on for years..

  • what about really old school projector slides?

  • Fantastic idea, thanks for the vid

  • I live in Tahoe! and i dont remember those keynotes. i must of missed it

  • hey chris are videos very pixelated?

and do they convert Hi8? tapes

  • It's only advertising lately... ... ...

  • Cool but I'm a video edit guy. I'm a do it my self kind of guy. I can do a 2 hour home movie in 4 hours give or take. in that time I can record them to my hard drive, edit them and burn them.

  • Well, it's probably going to take longer to send the stuff to them to have them convert it than it would to just do it yourself... Once you start the process of converting yourself, you can go do something else.

However, it *IS* a nice service for people that can't afford the hardware or don't know how to do it themselves...

  • lol. your right on that. god how i hate slow render :)

  • NOT FIRST!

  • This exactly what I wanted !!!

    Thanks bro :)

  • eh, im ninth comment, and this program is not a bad idea!! 5*'s

  • Wow

  • im really sexy

  • VERY NICE

  • Nobody gives a shit if you're first
