He is drinking better water up there than what he is drinking at home, and if anyone knows how sever the water controls are in Italy, this must mean a lot.
I suppose poor americans can rent a box on the moon & the administrator of nasa can book a presidential suite in the "Grand Mao Zedong",on "Tranquility XingKai Lake" from the chineese who can also sell them water, oxygen and other necessitys they produce there at a profit.Maybe also the chineese can harvest the He3 there and some microwave transmitters and sell the usa electricity when america has no oil left in the world.
Maybe it will not be so bad.The chineese will have a moonbase there & can then use it as a launch pad, saveing a great deal of Yen with the long term goal against short term yahoos of going to asteroids; for the colonisation of other planets for the peoples rebublic of chineese planets.
Was lucky enough to catch the live broadcast on BBC News 24 earlier today, very insightful and a nice surprise to see this rather than the rather drab stories normally on the rolling news!
Just wondering, the audio delay between the studio and the station was much more noticeable watching it on the BBC than it is in this video, is this due to the time taken for the signal to pass from the studio, to communication satellites and then to the station (and back) or is it due to some other effect?

Yes, I notice it when I watch football, I live near San siro Standium in Milan Italy, the ground TV station is nearly sincronized with the stadium sound, but on satelite TV there is a delay of about a second.
I can definitly see this century being the turning point where life on Earth merges with life in space. Children under the age of 8 with cellphones, laptops and all sorts of modern gadgets, if they are brought up with the knowledge of operating them, imagine what they would be capable of in 20-30 years.
Cant wait for the space world to come a everyday thing, but it would be strange to go into space as a yearly holiday for an a average person on earth in the future. To be honest I cant wait :-)
@kirza94 I don't want space travel to become a commercial thing, I don't want the people with the biggest salary to get into space, it should be people who deserve it and have actually made a contribution to humanity instead of just getting rich by hurting the environment or running sweat shops. I would rather see David Suzuki or Steven Hawking (I'm aware that's impossible for both of them) in space then the owner of Walmart.
@CaNaDiiAnBaCoN Well i agree in a way to hear that, but commercial space travail is nearly a reality and everyone should be able to look at the planet we live on in first person. Plus Steven Hawking has a ticket for Richard Bransons Virgin galactic which has done its test flights, good to see Prov. Hawking go into space he deserves it.
They should let Paolo Nespoli speak more often. He is very engaging and get a lot of interesting insights. I do enjoy hearing from other astronauts, too. :)
Nothing could possibly be better than living and working up there now. If we had gone back to the Moon or headed on to Mars, then maybe, but not today. Working on the ISS must be the ultimate. : )

They have 1.5h exercises a day. They do so many movements. All that could be used to generate electricity as they move their bodies.
