Hurricane Ike Surf at Navarre Beach, Florida Sept 11, 2008

wow. I just was on that pier yesterday and it looked NOTHING like that... this is my second time being here to visit family and the last time I went... I JUST missed this hurricane!

I dont think its that great that the road is level with the ocean . well almost. I just feel so uncomfortable driving down that road lol. Its like that some in destin.

hey i was there from august 30, 2008- sept 5, 2008 yeah i lost my hat because of the hurricane in the gulf a few days before ike hit >:'( i miss that hat

ya that was crazy! usually the pier at 2:05 is like 20 feet above the water. hurricane ike was awesome!!!

The wind WAS getting stronger, with the sand hitting you and the salt spray coating everything it was pretty intense.
