I loved it, I just read the Tolstoy book and I wanted to hear the sonata. It is beautiful.

@Turquoisen You may already know this, but Tolstoy's book is named after Beethoven's "Kreutzer Sonata." This piece by Janacek is in turn based off of Tolstoy's book.

Sorry if that was redundant.

This is one of my favorite string quartets and my favorite piece by Janacek. I'd never heard it for larger ensemble before--it's wonderful!
