Are you aware that Russian and Ossetian armies has pushed the Georgian troops out one by one and that people were being evacuated and rescued. Military engineers are known to repair things even during firefight as long as they have cover. These are military people they are trained to fight & risk their lives they don't wait for fightings to die out before doing engineer tasks. Russian soldiers are fighting and dying in the streets all the time so why is it NOT OK to send out a military engineer?
