Hello, what if I dont have a grill can i just use a pan? And also how would i cook them if i wanted to put them on sticks? and can I do more of roundish kofta like a kofra without a stick?
@nikiandkinda Hi! Do you have a griddle or flat pan? If so, you can 'grill' them on that. A hot skillet will also do! If you want to put these on skewers, make sure you soak them well if they are wood. And, yes, you can make a roundish Kofta. Just make sure you cook it all the way through. Thanks for coming by!
My wife saw you make this and said to remind her to get the ingredients (she loves all of your recipes). Well I forgot to remind her...what can I say? Men! Anyway I just caught Atticus9799 raving about your recipe, so I came over to check it out. WOW..so now if you will excuse me, I am on my way to the grocery store, this stuff looks Fabulous! Thanks.
@Pattycakessmiles Ha! You guys are so funny! Thank you so much for coming by! Your support means so much to me! I hope these come out great! Take care!
Thank ypu Mary Ann. I am having a great week end in spite of some rain, lol the sun is still behind the clouds and it does and will shine again.I hope you and your family are having a wonderful week end also.
I love this recipe!! I am usually throwing all the herbs and vegetables inside food processor instead of grading them. Few blitzes and all preparation done!!
@pastryparrot1 I lived in middle east for 18 years of my life so this recipe is stand by in my home. If you want to add a "Twist" to this recipe try to add next time 1 teaspoon cumin and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. It will take you immediately to culinary trip to Morocco.
@EasyRecipesWithTwist Yes! Thank you! That is such a great tip. I was married to a Bolivian - first generation Palestinian - the first time around and learned to cook Arabic food from my wonderful mother-in-law. I had never made Koftas before, however. Now, it will definitely be one of our family favs. I will definitely try the cumin and cinnamon. Delish! OK, I will stop babbling now!
I would totally put this in my 5 quart kitchenaid mixer with the dough hook! This looks fabulous! Never had it before but my mouth is watering now, I WANT KOFTAS! Thanks Maryanne. Noreen
@atticus9799 Hi Noreen! These are great! They are really tasty. The yogurt and pepper flakes at the end really add a lot! Thanks for coming by! I hope all is well!
Looks fantastic now I'm craving kofte now. Can you show us how to make some soups please I really like your recipes. Thank you

i am from turkey. this is pretty close to the 'real deal' kofte.
i would add 1 egg and a bit of bread crumbs to the mixture to help bind it all together better only. but not always necessary.
