first of all It is not okay for a white man to voice a black character on a show whose jokes reside solely on stereotyping a culture/community. Especially when the majority has exploited and expounded these misconceptions.

after watching this show a few times i do not believe its jokes reside solely or even mostly on stereotypes. & if a whiteman can voice a character well he should be allowed 2do so. (& this goes vice a versa 4 blacks voiceing white characters). these misconceptions may hav been exploited by whites but u hav 2 step back & ask R blacks really doing more 2 disconnet themselves away from these traits? & more importantly what r we doing now 2 move foward from todays bad perceptions? it could be better

I'm that interested in the show. It seems like they didn't set up character dynamics before deciding to put it on. I think they thought "Let's spin off Cleveland" without thinking of how to make it unique other than giving Cleveland a smart baby and making his son fat. Which is Family Guy's format just tweeked.

I also agree about American Dad thing, that show never made me laugh and the characters aren't likeable. You should like the characters even if the show is for comedy.

Okay I've watched the first episode...I don't really like it the ideas are old and stale and keeping the same format of husband wife fat son teenage daughter and then little smart mouth kid is there going to be a talking dog too I think seth mcfarlene is out of new original material

Dude i think you're too sensitive. I think its gonna be hilarious. its comedy and a fictional cartoon. It should exploit stereotypes. This is what the family guy machine does. Comedy. Family Guy has been going downhill since the 4th season. But at least half of every episode is usually good. American Dad has never worked and is a horrible show. No comedy, just cruelty for kicks and mean spirited characters. My hopes for the Cleveland show are not too high.

I think Cleveland is funny. The baby without the dog is not right, though, at least give him a talking cat. His catch phrase could be like "meow" to get a dry martini. Stewie was more of a bad-guy in the first season. I can understand the changes, since we need more gay-jokes. Brian's ok.

junior & cleveland voice sounds similar to me, as if they were voice by the same people. i know that the creators would like everyone to enjoy the show but they do tend to stir shows towards certian audiences (i just was wondering wich one), i did not know that about ADHD fascinating & gives the show good continuniting. a baby sex obsessed? Cleveland Brown Junior is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson btw. The Cleveland Show is aimed at more of a family audience than family guy, but as far as whether it is being aimed at a black or white audience, I do not think there is an intention for a specific racial audience. In the comments to a different video, some1 pointed out that medicines used for ADHD can lead to weight gain which would explain Cleveland Brown Junior. Also Ralllo (the baby) is supposed to be sex obsessed.
