I don't see the point of this cut-down intro. The original sequence showing our Number 6 trying to resign from a powerful espionage organisation is essential build-up for the continual demand in the Village for INFORMATION about his reason.....and they'll get it by hook or by crook.
@fairportfan I totally agree,but if they had used this music,it would of done a little something for the new series. Making no bones about it,nothing can beat the original series.

The original theme and video intro was created in 1967. This one is "newer" than that.
