This is actually impossible for me at the moment. My hamstrings are horribly inflexible, so much so that I can reach about half way to my toes, but touching them is never going to be possible
what the fuck..these people dont even know how to pronounce slokas, or thier words..we need indian yogis teachin us..where are damn yoga youtubes by indians. man...sucks..
@jaanuch thats the awesome fact in yoga, you don't have to do it perfectly at once. for example you can bend half way through in the first asana 1:22 and so on.
@XLauruksx It doesn't have to do with how long your legs are. If you're not reaching your toes with your hands you either have a bent back (in stead of a long straight back) or you just aren't as flexible yet. Just put your hands on either side of the legs or lay them softly on your shins/knees. I have long legs too. Just practice, slowly.
And don't feel bad about how unflexible you think you might be. Most people nowadays can't even sit up straight with their legs stretched in front of them ;)
Hi! I've been watching your videos and very much like your detailed presentation of posture & breathing. Till a year ago, I attended barre a terre lessons for 8 cosnecutive years and had reached a quite well state, but I moved to another city, where no such class is available. Would you please suggest a sequence of exercises to "unlock" again my joints and muscles? I've been trying to apply some class exercises but it is always safer with an instructor. Thank you very much for your time.
Congratulations specila.for you. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed you youga.you work is beautiful and relax.Kesssssssssses thank you verry much for existe.
Love it

The rooster crowing as the face is reaching the floor is just a nice piece of Jungian synchronicity, in a very nice posture by a skilled teacher.
