It messed up me too. Nothing is real any more. I have no feelings and have problems speaking and can´t write well anymore. Life used to be beautiful. The snow falling was filled with love and exitement. Now life is boring and my IQ has dropped from 125 to 70. It is torture.

@SjurHermanzg Yes, it is torture when any and every feeling is blocked by drugs, which is often the case in antypsichotics.

It's not just with children either! I'm 49 years old and was prescribed Risperidone (Risperdal) in January 2010 for bipolar disorder. I had to stop taking it a couple of months ago after I started developing on my left side. I have a smallish swelling now under my nipple that is tender and it hurts quite a bit from time to time. My psychiatrist has told me that it will take some time for my prolactin levels and the gynaecomastia to resolve. I just hope it happens sooner, rather than later.
