  • I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.

Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.

  • "Girls just like bad boys" made me chuckle :)

  • I'm glad to see a Pagan having a civil conversation with an Atheist.

  • @autumnzep typically no pagan will ever try and convert anyone, if they are they do not understand the basics of the faith, that all paths are valid. Pagans have no issues with atheists and atheist don't have many issues with paganism. Sure they think we are silly for believing what we believe but we don't preach, don't try and convert, we don't discriminate or try to pass laws based on our own personal religious rules. we also share the experiences of discrimination form Islam and Christianity.

  • @Fireflygamer I have to disagree on the part that pagans have no issues with atheists. I live near Salem and have seen more intolarance towards atheists. Maybe intolarance is not a good word, Hatred I think is a better choice. you may be ok with atheists but you don't speak for all pagans as a whole. I could careless what people believe in as long as they do not interfere in my life and my happieness. I wish others shared that sentiment. But they cannot let go of that fanaticism.

  • @autumnzephyr I'd say a pagan and atheist COULD relate in ways, just about how they are thought of to be on the "dark side" by main stream society.

  • I think that coming out and claiming you are an atheist will bring more enemies to you than coming out in any other area.

  • Holy crap, it was on my birthday :D (im a pagan too)

  • @TheAtheistExperience Excuse me? Did you just say "the definition of atheism is irrelevant"? Words have meaning and without common definitions there is no meaning, thus no understanding. You really messed up on this reply. I suggest you turn this matter over to your superiors if you wish to continue on this.

  • @RedSun875

    - "Excuse me? (...) I suggest you turn [the definition of atheism] over to your superiors if you wish to continue on this."

Now you have hit upon a much bigger problem with atheism than just the dictionary definition: atheism is not an organization, so it has no management.

I guess I'll just have to ask the Non-stamp-collectors Union how they came up with an unambiguous definition of aphilatelism, just to make sure that they wouldn't be mistaken for radical out-stampers.

  • This kind of dialogue always fills me with some amazement and sorrow. Being from England, the concept of needing to hide atheism from a Christian mainstream is just mind-boggling. This is made all the stranger when you consider that the US is constitunionally secular, while the UK has an official church.

  • did he say hidded?

  • Who here is really looking forward to the release of Modern Warfare 3? I am!!!

  • Naturalistic Pantheism FTW

  • @Hiyami06

Pantheism seems so pointless. You believe the universe is god... in other words, there's no necessity for the word god at all, since it's already called the universe.

  • christianity is just one pagan religion among others. but the diffrence is that moder pagans are not assholes, while christians have kept their assholines from those times.

  • Also can I ask what is your opinion on agnosticism vs atheism?

  • @ranasingh

Gnosticism = you claim to know something for certain

Agnosticism = you don't claim to know something for certain

Theism = you believe in a supernatural god

Atheism = you don't believe in a supernatural god

With regard to religion, gnostic theists claim to "know" that god exists, whereas agnostic theists only believe that god exists.

Gnostic atheists claim to "know" that god doesn't exist, whereas agnostic atheists only believe that god doesn't exist.

  • @PJW1269 would someone who is Gnostic atheists believe a agnostic atheists to be delluded as they do not "know". What would be the criteria of the association of spiritual experience. It seems alot of atheists tend to be people who have gone through religion to reject it some of them have more knowledge about religion the theists.

  • @ranasingh It's true that lots of people (gnostic atheists, gnostic theists, and even people in between) often accuse agnostic atheists of being "unsure", or non-committal. If by "spiritual" you mean having a sense of awe and wonder about the world, having transcendent experiences, deep meaningful beliefs, anybody can have those, both theists and atheists. And yes, many atheists are reformed theists who felt their religion was too full of contradiction and untruth.

    Peace. B^)

  • @ranasingh But agnostic atheists are just open-minded, not "unsure". Their stance is based on rational thought and empirical evidence; right now there is no hard evidence for any supernatural god, but if evidence is ever presented they're willing to examine and consider it. That's what rational people do, is base their actions on something real, not something without evidence.

    Peace. B^)

  • @ranasingh i am a gnostic atheist when it comes to some godclaims, like the claim that julius ceasar was a god. I am convinced julius ceasar existed, but the claims for him being a god are not reconcilable with what is meant with a god in this context. He was a man, the emperor of Rome, but not a god.

  • @ranasingh Darwin has nothing to do with the foundation of atheism.

  • @maxergud for many the idea of replacing creationism with evolution. In different societies people had different ideas of creation not necessarily Abrahamic but more tribal stories as well. In the modern western world many find comfort in evolution and big bang theories as for justifying creation however we don't really know we only believe or have faith in an ideology.

  • @ranasingh Evolution and the BB has nothing to do with faith, it's science. They are theories founded on the evidence we have discovered.

  • How old would you say athiesm really is? Do you darwin is the founder of it or someone older?

  • @ranasingh Atheism = "I reject your assertion that god exists". It's a lack in a belief; not a belief in and of itself. In that sense, it's as old as any religion; as long as there have been claims of a god of some sort, there have been rejections of those claims. Therefore Darwin did not "found" atheism. Furthermore, there is no connection between atheism and evolution. Lack in a belief of god does not equate to accepting evolution, and belief in evolution does not make someone atheist.

  • Ali Hakim? I though he lived in Oklahoma...

  • Im bored by disbelief.. I could not stand to have such a label as " non-believer " think about it... nonbelieeever.. hmm maybe I can't prove that my one and only god is real but it sure is fun beeelieving, we all have tough questions dumbo! Be as u will, but from experience of being a nonbeliever, its GREAT to believe.. Amen, Amen, Amen...

  • @michaelb3439 I suppose it could be boring, like being a non-drinker, non-pot smoker, or non-crack addict.

  • @michaelb3439

I do fun things the time I don't spend taking fairy tales seriously. Like taking other pointless things seriously. But at least those are sort of real.

  • Atheism is it's own separate deal altogether. It is simply non-belief. And, we are all free to believe however we choose, so long as no harm is done through the way we express those beliefs.

  • I don't believe that Christianity is the problem. The problem lies within those who use it as a tool to harm others. I am a Pagan, and I can appreciate Christianity as an entity of itself, because it is composed primarily of Pagan stories being retold in a way that allows it to be easily integrated into society.

  • @revsparrowhawk13 Christianity destroyed paganism and turned into something to fear. Christianity is the problem. It's in their doctrine to demonize other beliefs. While all Christians are like that, it doesn't change that fact.

  • @HybridD91 Very true. I always say, I have nothing against Christians as long as they're not harming anyone, but I hate what they have done to their god. I dislike anyone who uses their god as an excuse to hurt people or cause such distress.

  • @revsparrowhawk13 *all Christians AREN'T like that*

  • I do not take my God from that filthy book. Research anciet aliens. There is plenty of proof.

  • I think I have already explained what he is. I can tell you are a kike. You a distracting with non sense when I already fully explained what he is. This kind of stupidity is what deludes people. Wake up and grow a brain.

  • i was threatened to be disowned when i said i am an athiest.

so i lived at a friend's place after i was kicked out for over 2 months, and then they "forgave" me, and the second i came back, i found a fuckign crucifix over my bed and a bible under my pillow.

needless to say, i moved out again and i have yet to return

  • @Mikeybetts

    Wow. You have my empathy.

  • @Mikeybetts damn if i could i would give you my place

  • @starnjuy

its ok, im living at my rich friend's place, im staying in the spare room.

    its SWEET!!!

  • @Mikeybetts such bullshit nobody really gives a rats ass what you believe in as long you're trying to get along bur i see that athiests and pagans really love it when

  • Ali......Ali Ababwa oh my god aladdin is calling

  • Satan is an extra terrestrial being. In a universe of over one hundred billion galaxies can you really be so stupid as to say they dont exist?

  • @TheSatanwarrior He is? I didn't know that. I thought he was a fallen angel, cast out by the Abrahamic god. Is this the same Satan? Are you some kind of New Age satanist, combining pieces of different beliefs to make your own?

  • @TheSatanwarrior

Claiming satan doesn't exist is not quite as stupid as claiming he does exist, although it is still stupid.

There is no evidence in favor of satan's existance. However, if you read the bible, logic provides ample evidence that no such "satan" exists.

  • I am openly a Heathen. It is a personal choice, and to a great extent cultural rather than an issue of faith, and I do not try to proselytize. I realize that it is not provable nor disprovable. I have received some snide remarks from all sorts of people. But, I always confront them head-on. After a while, others realize that such conversations will always end horribly, and they cease to raise the topic.

  • I think we could all (without exception) need some tolerance in that matter.

Seems the Pagan-Atheist dialogue is working, so we'll have to work on the dialogue between Christians and Atheists some more ...

  • @Gronkor y? christian/jew/islam faiths are completely destructive and based on lies men hav spread. this harmful ignorance needs 2 b stamped out b4 it causes any more wars and destroys america any further

  • @cruelbusiness1984 If that is really your point of view, there's no point in any further discussion. As I am a Christian, you wouldn't take me seriously whatever I say.

A sad intolerance that is, and btw you exclude the majority of mankind from a discussion with you.

  • @TheSatanwarrior learn the truth there is no god/satan/allah/magical flying spaghetti monster

  • Anyone else hearing the random patches of one of them having a totally high pitched voice?

  • My sister was a pagan for years but she got a copy of God is Not Great Christopher Hitchins and now she has joined the sceptics. Praise the void! ILOLyouYeh!

  • you know what gets me about the christens is that HELL was not even talked out in the bible old or new all it says 1 time is lake of fire no name for it Hell is a man made Name but then again so is the bible LOL

  • @rainbowpagan2 hell is mostleilkly taken from hades. but hades is not really evil. it has areas that are for good people, and bad people. good get rewarded, bad get punished. hell in christianity is plase where you go if you dont subscribe to their religion. so christianity is ultimate subscriber whore plot.

  • @gethsoftware haha good one and so true God Hades is a good God and they just use his underworld to make there hell with out death there is no life

  • my middle name is paigan.... looks like firefox says ive been spelling it wrong my whole life

  • "yeah...uh-hu...hmm...yeh...right...mmm hmm..."

  • HAHA this is a joke. Pagans and atheists untie against Christianity. These people are a joke.

  • @vesperus1981

I wouldn't say they're united, pagans are just as silly as you Christians, the hosts were simply being polite.

  • This caller is an idiot.

  • @Tobsy1981

    Why?

  • @csm1025

Because Paganism is arguably more retarded than even monotheism.

  • @Tobsy1981

Wow! You're an ass. How is being Pagan so much worse than being a Christian? Is being Hindu more or less retarded than being a Christian? Is being a Shintoist more or less retarded than being a Christian?

  • @csm1025 Actually you're an ass.

I don't lump Shintoism or Hinduism in with "pagans", while they may all be polytheistic religions this "pagan" is simply an idiot who decided to claim belief in plural gods as do most "pagans" in the west. Hindus aren't Hindus to be trendy as most "pagans" in western countries are.

  • @Tobsy1981

Oh, you've met every pagan in the West and have found out that 51% (or more) are trying to be trendy. You never met this caller so how can you call her an idiot? How can you claim to know how she feels about her religion?

  • @csm1025

    Because she's a "closet pagan"

And as a mater of fact I've met many "pagans" and every single one of them fits that description, The fact that she asks the hosts of "The atheist experience " if "they hide in the closet?" also reinforces my belief that she's an idiot, just as your comments have convinced me that the same is true about you.

You want to continue? I got free time if you feel like making an ass of yourself.

  • @Tobsy1981

Yeah I have free time. This is fun!

So "being in the closet" means you're an idiot. Being scared of persecution and being afraid that your family will disown you is a sign that a person is stupid? You must think that gay people are idiots too.

The woman was wondering if Atheists go through a similar experience that she is currently going through.

  • @csm1025

I couldn't care less what you do with your penis being gay isn't a belief or a choice so you can leave your persecution complex at the door. The woman still attends church, she still acts like a christian, she, much like you, simply enjoys being "persecuted" it's her entire identity, the fact that she was insulted by a pastors comment regarding "paganism" shows her motives.

  • @Tobsy1981

You can't be that stupid. First, don't talk about me like you know anything about me. Second, don't talk like you know anything about the caller. You never have met her. Third, the fact that she was insulted by a pastor shows that she is discriminated against, not that she likes being discriminated against. She is going to church to spend time with her family. As previously stated, she is afraid to lose her family. You are exactly like her pastor.

  • @csm1025

You're getting upset, don't be mad at me for being honest. You're not that complicated, she's discriminated against? haha ok. She goes to church because she's a christian, she claims to be pagan because she has to satisfy her need to feel persecuted, just as you do.

How am I like her pastor? You're really grasping at straws there, she's an idiot plain and simple and you're an argumentative douche with a persecution complex.

  • @Tobsy1981

You're not being honest. You're making stuff up. She said she is a pagan, not a christian. I have no need to feel persecuted. Where did you get that from anyway?

You are like her pastor in that you are ignorant of other people's beliefs and don't mind mocking them. Why do you keep insulting me instead of arguing your point?

  • @csm1025

I'm correct in my assessment of both the caller and yourself. She's a christian that doesn't really believe, churches are full of them. You absolutely have the need to feel persecuted, you brought up the gay issue not I.

I quoted her, you immediately assumed that I was a homophobic bigot because that's what you wanted me to be, thereby satisfying your desire to be persecuted.

I'm in no way ignorant of other peoples beliefs, true i don't mind mocking things that are mock worthy.

  • @Tobsy1981

If you think she is a christian who doesn't believe in Christianity and calls herself a pagan and practices that religion but doesn't believe it, then fine. I never called you homophobic. I made an anology between being in the closet about being a pagan and about being gay. You then stated that I want to be persecuted against. I don't. Yes I was the first one to throw an insult. But in my defense, you were being rude and judgmental.

  • @csm1025

"You must think that gay people are idiots too."

    "I never called you homophobic"

You seem to disagree with yourself.

"You then stated that I want to be persecuted against"

You demonstrated this with your assumptions.

"you were being rude and judgmental."

Do i even have to respond to this one?

  • @Tobsy1981

The first quote: I was using that to show how thinking pagans are idiots is the same as thinking gays are idiots because they have to be in the closet. I hope you don't think badly of gays, but I don't know you.

Second quote: Which assumptions said "Persecute me, please!"

Third quote: Can't respond to it? How about you reread everything you just posted.

I'm going to bed. If you want to argue some more it will have to wait until tomorrow. Good night.

  • @csm1025

OK, I reread them , I didn't contradict myself once, you can't claim the same.

No need to wait until tomorrow, you made yourself look foolish just as I promised you would, no point wasting more time on you.

  • @Tobsy1981 u hav quite the skewed view on the conversation u know that? csm1025 never once said they were a pagan. could hav been an atheist wit a healthy respect 4 other people's view point. u from moment one decided 2 label every1 wit a name. its childish really

  • @csm1025

And I believe it was you that opened with "you're an ass" making you both a hypocrite and a douche as earlier stated.

  • @csm1025 Naturally, anyone who doesn't agree with them, or believe what they do (or don't) is an idiot. It's the best argument! =3

  • For me I hid the term "Atheism" but have always been an outspoken philosopher so it took them a while to finally put the pieces together. In fact I'd say it was some of the ways they would respond to deep philosophical questions that helped me realize god is bs. I used to ask hard questions out of an honest need to understand, now it's more to keep them on their toes.

  • Darwin married his own Cousin. Through inbreeding many of his children fell ill.

  • @prolifebuttonsDOTcom Adam and Eve's children married their own siblings, Through inbreeding Christians were created.

  • @CommanderC4 explains a lot, doesn't it?

  • LMAO, "ya-KEE-ma Washington." IT'S YACK-i-MAW.

  • I could show you the evidence that the FSM exists. But sadly you have no degree in flyingspaghettimonsterism so you re not qualified. Therefore the FSm exists untl you prove it doesnt AND then get a degree in that.

  • @omnissient Funny and a good point! ^^ :D hahaha

  • @omnissient Besides, If you don't have faith in the sauce, you're unable to taste it.......

  • It's YACKima. Yack, like the animal. The i is flat (does not sound like an e) sort of like the word 'ill'. And 'ma' like "maw"

  • I wish there were more pagan callers. I enjoy chatting with my atheist friends and they do too. We always have respectful, engaging dialogue. When I first talked about my belief, they were very interested in my ideas that the gods are not omniscient or omnipotent. In turn, they helped me see that you don't need religion to form a system of ethics and morals. I hope we can see this on the show instead of angry religious people calling and making fools of themselves and their religion.

  • @buggerwho12 I wish knew pagans lol. I'm even interested in neopaganism (yay internet) but because I am an atheist, I like the pantheistic (spiritual atheism) side of neopaganism.

  • @HybridD91 Hi. I'm Pagan :D How are ya?

  • @buggerwho12 lol "The Atheist Experience, making religion a better experience =D"

  • @BunnyBUNGALO sure it is.

  • @thelivingfire sure what is?

  • I was once atheist but i was sad my friends were not judgemental. No one can prove God can't exist nor can exist but when i was an atheist my heart felt empty then one day i decided to go to church with my family (my family are Roman Catholics) i felt happier their it is harder to find Chirst (GOD) is one self than in the church i do believe in GOD once again and i feel happier.

  • @AtomicBomb79 you cant prove that god exists / doesnt exist but you can prove that god with certain definitions cannot exist.

  • @VarykGerai true but you can't prove that God can't exist either..

  • @AtomicBomb79 you can actualy, if the given god is logicaly contradicting. That is proving it cannot exist instead of proving that it doesnt exist.

  • @VarykGerai Sence i am roman catholic... i believe in evolution if you take out Genesis of the bible and out in evolution instead... it makes more sense Genesis was just God telling person who wrote Genesis the best way for him to understand... say your like a super smart scientist and u have a kid your kid comes up to and ask "daddy/momma hwo was the universe made" your knowing he would not very likely ask that and he is like.. 5 years old tould you tell him the earth was made in 6 day? cont>

  • @VarykGerai or the earth was made by gases molten magma heating and cooling cooling and heating and ect. the 1st one would be more understandable based on his knowledge

  • @AtomicBomb79 pretty sure if a kid asks such a question he would understand the cloud of dust thingy. Even if he doesnt theres no reason misinforming the kid is there?

  • @VarykGerai as in there are more scientific theories most Christians such as Protestant (non catholic Christians) would be a huge fuss over Adam and Eve its like argueing with a wbc member.. (westboro baptist church) we both believe in evolution but now with the creating the universe the Universe wasn't always here but you ask your self "Where di God come from" Mormons believe God came from a planet or universe that was ruled by another God so on and etc. but the bible says there is only one God

  • @AtomicBomb79 what makes you think the universe wasnt always there? why god can be eternal but not the universe?

  • @VarykGerai btw i accadently thumbs down on your comment... my bad i double clicked on the "send comment" box my bad

  • @AtomicBomb79 how is getting a load of bs into kids head better than telling something that is hard to understand?

  • @VarykGerai No no no... when they get older like in.. 4th grade or 5th you can tell them how the universe was made... everyone has there own theory my theory is God made the universe Adam and Eve never existed it was all evolution and what we are now today

  • @AtomicBomb79 How strange. For me it was the other way around.

  • @RJ132991 Everyone has their own understanding this is mine

  • @TheAtheistExperience Ive had many experiences my friend. ive seen things people can only imagine. you dont know me, so you dont know what ive seen. and if youve seen what i have, youd be a religious man. and why is it that you get irritated when people speak of theyre faith so boldly?

  • @TheAtheistExperience I got it from how unfounded it is. You have zero evidence to disprove it. This one goes back to my good old friend shockofgod.

He defeated you with one simple question. "What prove and evidence do you have against Christianity?".

Go head delete my comment as you did to my channel comment.

Just please do honest hard research and you will find for yourself, that what I belief is truth. Look up Christian famous apologists, don't let your own pride lead to your downfall.

  • @Zayin1993 There are plenty of atheist bashers as well. People are just extremely angry these days. There are many interpretations of who jesus was, even among christians, a majority of the christians i've dealt with believe jesus was perfect so they don't have to even try to be decent they will go to heaven no matter what.

  • @InKa4484 There truly is alot of angry people nowadays :D but like I said they are not being Christ-like. And will pay for there wrongs, as every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

Those people are only partially right.

Jesus, as we believe is "the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through [Him]." So these people are judging for themselves, something only God can judge, they're actions. They tread on dangerous grounds.

  • @InKa4484 ..... jesus told us to repent our sins my friend. there you go mindlessly bashing.

  • @BunnyBUNGALO I appreciate your opinion, however i'm very mindfull in my bashing. I suggest you try shutting up and listening, if you expect an atheist to listen to you. Isn't that part of your religion? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Or something like that. Maybe you want to read more of the conversations you butt into. Zayin1993 is a christian and he didn't think i was mindlessly bashing him.

  • @InKa4484 im not trying to anger you. but what you said was completely irrelevant to Christianity as a whole. like i said excepting jesus isnt all you have to do to be saved. you have to repent your sins. every christian believes this. you were stating something that had no foundation. and that makes it mindless.

  • @BunnyBUNGALO So what you are saying is, people who don't interpret the bible the way you do, are not truly christians. That's a great point, it's to bad churches can't look at it that way or they'd all be out of money. Untill they do, I will refer to all these rude people who impose their views of christ on me, as christians. That is the foundation of my statement and that makes it mindful. Get your house in order before you look for people to invite over.

  • @InKa4484 How can you interpret something that doesnt need to be interpreted? if someone tells you to look before you cross the street and you dont and get hit by a car, whose fault is it? how can you interpret that? by jesus telling you not to cast your pearls to swine, and you do the opposite, are you going to blame it on how you interpreted it? wouldnt that make it your fault? and you interpreted it differently how did you do so? as if its not obvious enough as it is to understand to start..

  • @BunnyBUNGALO Yep.

  • @InKa4484 yep what?

  • @Zayin1993

    - "Why do atheists take so high emotions and become very offensive at Christians?"

About 8 months ago nekftw wrote, "the ignorance and dumbness of christians makes me sick." That comment got 43 thumbs up. There is your answer.

  • @TheAtheistExperience

Normal people don't get "sick" or try to fight someone they think they are ignorant or even dumb. There is something else involved here.

Also, don't bullshit me with 43 thumbs up, this is a logical fallacy as any person that has completed high school would understand.

  • @Zayin1993 i havnt finished highschool and even i understand. these atheists dont even try to listen. ive just replied to 2 comments that were completely mindless.

  • The mom thing is the same to me but at least my mom is optimistic and believes that I have "salvation" even as an atheist. So I let it be since to me its important that shes happy. It bothers me shes every day waiting for some zombie 2k year old Jew to come and save her, but after I saw the movie The Invention of Lying, and I saw how he lied to his mother about heaven just so she could die happy was a powerful thing for me to consider. I remain an atheist, but I'm not gonna try to kill her faith

  • What an attention whore. She knows they don't hide in an a closet. She just wanted to get on TV and announce that she's Pagan. They always do that. They always have a gazillion bumper stickers on their cars announcing what they are, they have to tell everyone they meet about it, and act like they have psychic powers. This one trashy Pagan was watching me play piano once and she said my aura was changing color. The attention whore just wanted people to think that she was able to see auras.

  • Fred Phelps uses that background doesn't he?

  • I believe in anti-god, anti-god makes your god not exist.

Prove that anti-god doesn't exist otherwise he does and your god doesn't.

    PS.

Anti-god is outside of nature and you can't detect him no matter what.

He also exists no matter what because he is eternal.

  • We will take advantage of American kindness, gullibility, and compassion. When time comes we will stab them in the back to death. We will teach our children Islamic value from the very childhood. We will teach them not to compromise with Infidel. Once we do that from the very early age our children won't hesitate to be martyr. We will take over the Europe first and then US. We already have a solid ground in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany, and US. Allah Akbar!

  • @samgee2007 I don't know, every single time I read a message like this, I start wondering if the writer is a troll. I'm usually happy with that answer. Your message is no different. I just thought I'd point out that messages like these make me and most other people wonder if 1) You're a troll or 2) You're a mad man.

Just thought I'd tell that to you, friend.

  • @samgee2007 - And most importantly, please post your cheesy world domination plans ON A YOUTUBE COMMENT. Because looking like an imbecile is absolutely top priority. Heh.

As for paganism and atheists... I'm glad she didn't ask. Because the answer would be no different than the one given to Christians -- naturally! Atheists don't believe in one god, let alone several.

But Pagans are known for being more internal of their beliefs and keeping their religion at heart/personal. Like poetry. *shrug*

  • I believe there are a huge number of closet atheists out there. It's easier, I think, for a lot of people just not to spend a lot of time fighting against the prevailing ideology of their family and community, and focus on living their life, continuing with their job, and getting along with their family and neighbors, rather than rocking the boat. There are big risks to coming out, with little in the way of payoff. Atheists are trusted less in this country than Islamic fundamentalists.

  • I think the biggest difference between thiesm and paganism is that pagans almost never try to convert you, the beileve there is something more to the world. Something supernatural, but there are also many paths to the devine and everyone has to find there own path. They do not claim or at least most of them don't calim to have the one truth, its about the journy more then the destination, its about exploring their "spirtual" side.

The ones that calim to have superntaral power do make me laugh.

  • The common method of islamic contraception at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was coitus interruptus (withdrawal of the penis from the vagina just before ejaculation) thus preventing semen from entering the vagina. The Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) engaged in this practice during the period of the Qur’anic revelation. Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) , '

  • @samgee2007 fuck ur allah moron and fuck ur bastrd paedophile prophet

  • @samgee2007 Why didn't the allknowing allah tell muhammad that little semen can come out even before ejaculation? Coitus interruptus does not prevent pregnancy. It seems modern scientists keep outwitting your allah all the time.

  • @byteresistor -How dare you insult islam? You infedels are like that!may allah burn you in hell! Allah is watching all your move!..........i shout allah akhbar!DEATH TO AMERICA

  • @samgee2007 I just proved you wrong and you get upset like a little baby. boohoo, cry me a river

  • @samgee2007 And I'm not an american so what's with that last sentence of yours? Brainwashed much to hate the US?

  • @samgee2007 Because Islam is all about love. First reaction, kill someone or beat a woman. Very healthy.

  • what the fuck is a pagan forreal?

  • People must respect all relegions!

  • @MrVoyKA

Why should we respect stupid ideas?

  • You know what's wierd? I am a pagan and the camera date is my birthday.

  • what the fuck is a pagan today? a worshiper of belcebu? hey, if people are allowed to believe in xenu, the galactic warrior, people can also be pagan... I am just shocked to learn someone is a pagan today.

  • @lapiz1969 I worked with a pagan during the 2008 election, she was a really nice person.

  • @lapiz1969 There are more of us than you think ;) In my school of about 900 people last year, there were at least 5, and at least 5 more outside of the school.

  • @lapiz1969 there are plenty of us out there, we're just not so openly coming forward due to the prosecution for 400 years by christians and the many false ideas behind what we do and who we are. You can find plenty of sites on the internet talking about our beliefs

  • @slithas thanks, I am very comfortable being an atheist. I do not oppose people being pagan, people can be whatever they want, I am libertarian and as such I respect religious beliefs practiced in private... as long as you don`t interfere with my life, be as pagan as you want.

    cheers

  • you guys are great. Is there somehow a possible way to get all the videos on DVD? I'm from brazil To bad we don't have a show like this on TV.

    Congratulations

  • @sergiobrid

Yes, as a matter of fact you can order almost all the shows on DVD. If you visit the "community" web site that is mentioned in the description and then go to Products, you will find the whole list. They are $5 each, but of course you can always donate more to earn your place in atheist heaven... or you can go to atheist hell and just watch all those episodes on Bip tv and Google Video. That depends on your own choice, because God gave atheists a free will. :-)

  • Atheists don't waste all their resources on Monotheistic religions. Pagans deserve their dues too. I have a Pagan friend(nice fellow) and we were shooting off fireworks in the forest(real safe lol) one night. We got a lost so he put his ear to the ground and said "Speak to me! Speak to me!". Yeah...seriously. We wandered for about another 30 minutes till I remembered the compass in my pocket. So I shined my flashlight, went west after looking at the North Star and we found our way back.

  • @MasterAdam100 - strange to me as a Pagan that he didnt know about the North Star. Many of the Pagans I meet dont know a thing about nature...however, isnt that exactly what Pagans should know about? Guess they spend too much time dressing up and working at the altar? I dont know, I spend more time outside and science is how I roll...perhaps I am more NeoPagan...or not Pagan at all? Hmmm...

  • @skeletonmom Yeah. I think my friend was confusing magic with spirtuality. When I asked him about Animism, he had no frickin clue what it was. Aren't most Pagan's Animists? (just in case you don't know already, Animism is not a religion just like monotheism and polytheism are not religions but catergories where certain religions are put. Animism is where everything in nature is seen as having a spirit/soul. Deity's need not be involved.)

  • @skeletonmom So really, what I'm getting at.....is Wicca(the New Age Pagan religion my friend belongs to) Polytheistic or Animistic? Does it vary like in denominations?

Not assuming your Wiccan btw. Just thought you might know.

  • @MasterAdam100 Simple answer, all of the above lol, they can worship many gods and goddesses, a single lord or lady, or in some traditions a Single Goddess. They can also be animistic, believing everything contains an essence of divinity/spirit. There are many denominations of Wicca, to name a few Dianic Wicca, Gardnerian Wicca, Celtic Wicca and so many more.

  • @Bronxloyalist theories are made to explain facts, and make pedictions. Hitler was a Catholic, FYI. Stalin was an atheist... so was Einstein... So was Thomas Paine... so what? None of these men did any of their great deeds because of their not believing that there are any gods. Bronx, I'll go so far as to say that you, yourself are an atheist.. in regards to almost all of the gods that man has invented. Atheists just go one god further.

  • ...not all Christians are that way people. =/

Kind of offensive to me.. I'm a new Pagan, but I was born and raised Christian, and if you think all Christians are like that than that's ignorance on your part. >.>

  • There's no God and there was no Son of a God (Jesus) you started to to believe in God because your parents and so on did so you had no other opportunity. It's a hard thing but you have to understand: There is NO GOD !

  • @CamAtheist i'm a pagan

  • @FluffyFeralMarmot

    As am I, an Asatruist.

  • paganism is just as silly as the rest of them
